I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I started queuing around 9 am and there were around six people already in front of me. By 1030, I think there were probably a good 30-40 people by the main entrance. They opened at 1030 on the dot and I found it quite confusing - being my first time to FSH under their new system. But the time I found the line for the reservation system, at least another 10 people had jumped in front of me because I was so disoriented! Anyway, I got a reservation for around noon and decided to walk around the store a bit first. I got a text prior to my reservation time and quickly went to the counter. A friendly SA took me to another counter and took down my details and wish list. I had a relatively specific list (I have found more luck at FSH when I go with a more specific list). Since this was my first visit this trip, I wasn't particularly hopeful ... After about 10 minutes the SA came back empty handed and I was naturally disappointed since we all know that usually is accompanied by a 'no' .... Turns out the SA just wanted to reconfirm my details and left again. Another 5 minutes later, the SA came back with a box and asked me to follow to another room. I was so excited!!!

The friendly SA said that he doesn't have exactly what I want but has something that I would probably like. Without further ado, I was presented with a Kelly in Oregano, GHW. It took me 2 minutes to say yes, and the rest is history! The SA did mention that stock was actually quite low given fashion week had just ended and people snapped everything up and I was very lucky.

The best part of this was that I no longer have to have this hanging over my head for the rest of my trip and can enjoy the rest of Paris! (Which is really what I should be doing anyway...)

I was at George V around at around noon last Saturday and already there were a lot of people. As soon as we lined up to get help, the sales attendants were saying "No birkin, no Kelly, no Lindys." I bought a Collier de Chien belt set and got off on a great start with the sales lady. After deciding on a belt, she asked if I wanted anything else. I asked for a neutral dark color in Constance or a 26 Lindy. She introduced me to another colleague and told us to wait. My husband and I waited around 15 mins and they finally showed us a Lindy 30! I was so shocked and disappointed that I had waited that long just to see a Lindy 30. She apologized for the lack of bags - but I couldn't hide my disappointment. I've been to George V and Faubourg many times in the past and I have to agree that George V is so much nicer. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck at both places.

Sorry to hear the inventory of bags was low at George V, I was planning to go there myself next week but maybe FHS is better for bags? Anyone scored at George V?

Woohoo! Congratulations, @smileygirl! Thank you for sharing your story and I'm sorry to hear about the folks who jumped the line in front of you. Regardless, you got your Kelly! She sounds lovely.
