Hi, everyone! This is my FSH story and I am not a good writer lol.
Went couple of times to FSH myself but was told that they have no Kelly's in stock, but I can check Sevres store if I want.
Yesterday I decided to line up with my husband and get two appointments. Since I was a bit over the idea of standing in lines in winter, I almost didn't go to FSH yesterday, but then decided to give it another try and lined up around 10.10am. Our appointments were for 12pm. So not so many people in line this time of the year.
I was told no Kelly's again. But my husband, on the other hand, managed to get me a Kelly )) He told SA that my first color choice was etoupe, then any other neutral, then "fun" colors, any hardware (but preference for gold) and Togo leather (although I was ok with other leathers as well, but my husband called me asking about leather choices and he couldn't understand word "epsom", so he just said Togo [emoji23]).
His SA was very lovely lady, she helped to get the accessories for the bag and I think she chose nice stuff, cause my husband doesn't understand women's fashion and could have been sold on anything less nice and useful. But she did great. She picked twilly, rodeo, insert ( and passport cover for my husband).
I am not sure about the insert since I can see its edges pushing leather when bag is closed, but I already shipped boxes home, so can't exchange it.

((Overall most of the staff is very nice at FSH, day and night comparing to my home store. The other day I tried to see if I can pull the care tag off my new beanie hat (not a Hermes hat), but it didn't work. So to my surprise few second later I saw SA with scissors coming my way lol And I was not makiView attachment 3570589View attachment 3570589ng a scene out of it, so don't know how he noticed that. Also I was not trying anything on or buying. That was very nice of him.))

The bag is Kelly 28 Retourne in Bleu Nuit Togo with GHW. I am tall and at first sight retourne style seemed smaller than I expected, but it still looks good on my frame. Next time I can expand my choices to size 32 retourne which will probably look like 28 sellier. Cause I think 32 is easier to find.
Thank you all for your helpful advises and stories! View attachment 3570575View attachment 3570576View attachment 3570577View attachment 3570578View attachment 3570579
I put the twilly on the bag myself, so it doesn't look perfect. Have to practice.
Thank you for sharing your story. Congratulations on scoring this beauty. It is perfect in the spec and color! If you dont mind can i ask what is the retail of this multicolor rodeo currently in Europe please? Thank you. Enjoy your new score!!

Beautiful bag!

I hope you sort this out and don't have to pay 100% of the cost. Keep us posted!

Thank you for asking, and thanks for everyone's input! I wish I had followed this thread closely and took down all your wise advise.

DH contacted Customs agent yesterday and scheduled an appointment today to pay for duty tax. The agent ended up giving an estimate of 9% of the total amount we purchased and told him no need to bring the actual items since we agreed to pay.

So when DH was there today, the agent has already had 9% printed out but was nice enough to waive it down to 6%, because we have been very cooperative. He did also mention it's very likely that we would be checked in the near future, so make sure to declare.

We've definitely learned our lesson, and I hope ladies didn't know (like me) see this too.

I'm happy that it turned out ok for you. I'm sure it was very stressful. Thanks for sharing your story.
