I visited FSH Paris during late November. I want to share my experience with the new appointment system for handbags. I waited in line an hour early before FSH opened at 10:30am and was not able to get an appointment. The new appointment system is less hectic because you don't see a long queue inside FSH handbag department. I was disappointed, but hopeful none the less after my H museum tour. I went back to FSH and I found my SA. We talked about the new appointment system. My SA who does not work in the handbag department mentioned the new appointment system is here to stay for now. She suggested if anybody want a handbag, they must go early and try for an appointment. My SA asked if I wanted to look at anything. I mentioned to her I would be interested in a B or K. I was surprised she wrote down my request. I try to be clear and specific. I asked for K35 Sellier or B35 both in black or blue, and with GHW. I also mentioned about ghillies style and my favorite color was blue electric. My SA went away for approximately 5-10 minutes and came back with the first bag, a K35 Sellier, black with GHW. I tried on the K and was unsure. I asked about B35 black, togo with GHW because this was the bag on my wish list. She went to checked and came back with the exact bag specs. I did not like the B35 in black much after trying it on. I asked my SA if there was a B35 in blue. She went to check and came back with a royal blue B35, epsom, GHW. I tried on this particular leather for B and did not like it. We talked about the differences between all three bags. My SA suggested a black bag with GHW because it's timeless and I needed a black bag in my collection (haha). She was right because I decided on the beautiful, K 35 sellier, black with GHW. It also happens to be the first bag my SA showed me. I believe SA do try there best to fulfill customers requests. Further, SA will also suggest a bag that best meet the customer. I wore my K40, retourne, colvert, GHW purchased at FSH. I truly felt blessed on this recent trip.

Nice to hear you were able to talk to Michael Coste. Did you just flag him down and said Hi to him? He is so nice to spare some time to chat with you. I dont think I would be daring enough to say Hi to him if i ever see him. I would imagine he might be busy serving VIPs.

I saw him by the stairs i waived on him saying hi, then he waived back. I went to the que to get an SA, then got rejected, on my to the exit door there is a chair I sat down first, he was saying goodbye to the couple in one corner. He saw me ,looking on him ,[emoji5]came to me shook my hand and chatted a little bit... He was very nice,

So it sounds like if you 'have' an SA, you don't need an appointment. I guess I will try and hopefully find a good SA on my 1st visit at FSH. Can anyone provide names of some nice SA's at FSH? It doesn't work that way in my experience. Unless the SA knows you and recognizes your name they will tell you that the SA is busy with other customers and assign you to the whomever is available to help. Just having a name won't help. In general you have to build a relationship with a SA over time just like at any other store.

We arrived in Paris in the afternoon on Saturday, and of course no appointments were left at the mothership by the time we got there. It was extremely busy. Oh well, i did spend almost 2 hrs at the store looking around and checking out the scenery. Also got myself a pair of Oran sandal, so excited to find size 34.5, the SAs were so helpful and lovely. Today is the first day we will try our luck, except with jet lag and excitement, I had 3 hrs of sleep last night... My poor hubby has volunteered to go ahead and line up, while I am dragging myself out of bed...

Hopefully my tired look doesn't scare the SA away...
