Yes, it definitely is. You'll find that atmosphere at both stores are now quite different from your last visit.

I thought it was different too. I was just there (FSH only) and noticed every single chair was taken up by someone. In the shoes area for example there were several people sitting around and initially I thought they were waiting for SAs but they werent. While I was looking at the shoes they were all staring at me, I guess because they had nothing else to do. Then I went over to the ready to wear and same thing, people sitting around.

My bag trip was unsuccessful, but that was okay, I only tried a couple of times and I had a dream experience last time.

Omg this sounds awful. I guess I'll have to see for myself. They are going to need to make another change.

I would try serves. They have glass cases with some on display but the drawers below hold even more. When I was there they had a rainbow of them. Good luck.

Thank you for suggestion! I went there and exchanged Bearn wallet in etoupe for Kelly Wallet in Sapphire ) They definitely have more stock: they have blue electric, rose jaipur, Gris mouette, and few more but I forgot the names. They also had Constance wallet in Rouge Grenat. If someone is looking for wallets as well :)IMG_1478190348.619259.jpgView attachment 3510866

@mfa87 I would recommend going to FSH after the rush, say perhaps at 11am or later. There will be SAs who will be able to help you with SLGs. I was just at Sevres yesterday and there was a line for leather goods, a drawback from the new appt at FSH. Those in line seemed antsy and displeased with the long wait. There's only 2-3 folks at leather at Sevres vs double digit SAs at FSH.

I took a pic:

Thank you! There is definitely lines there, I ve been waiting for about 40 min to be served, and I was fourth in the line. Only one SA works in bags department so if someone buys anything, SA goes with the customer to process the purchase and it takes forever.
I had an exchange (Bearn wallet for Kelly) and while SA was helping me, no other SA came to help other people in line and my exchange took quite a long time too, I really felt bad for them.
(I checked it they had K or B - none )

I'm on a roll here. I went to rome, milan and paris trip with my husband as we want to see the holy door at vatican before it close. I scored a lindy 30 in trench color with ghw @Rome, a herbag 30 in red/maroon ( they say its new color ) and bag for my husband @Milan. And a birkin 30 in gris mouette with ghw @Paris . So every bag for every city. A very succesful trip for me but not for DH wallet

Congrats!!! That's amazing shopping spree in EU!

I was at Rue de Sevres yesterday (the day after the bank holiday) and the line wasn't that long but the waiting time was almost forever because there was only one or two SA and during lunch hours, there was none. sadly, I had something to do so had to leave after 3 hours of waiting (no kidding) . T_T

The store itself was beautiful though...

Allow me to share some good news :) DH is back from his business trip with my belated birthday presents!! I wasn't expecting much actually cos he was only going to be able to go shopping on Saturdays and from what I've read here, the stocks are usually low...

The first Sat, he arrived at 10am and was like 50th in the queue. Almost gave up but persevered and managed to get 4pm appointment. The second Sat, he arrived at 5plus.

These are what he bought over the two Saturdays at FSH - my exact wishlist :)

Interesting. I have not seen that yet. If they were not waiting for SA's what do you think all those people were doing there?

Hi everyone. I was in Paris last week and told myself I would probably not go to FSH as I did not feel like lining up 2 hours before the stores are opening, without even being secured an appointment for that day. Anyway, I decided to go in later that day as our hotel was nearby, just to have a look at some bracelets and scarves. I thought, while I was there, why not. So when I asked if there was still an appointment available, she told me that I was very lucky as there was someone available for me right away. I told the SA what I was looking for, but honestly did not expect anything out of it. When she came back, she told me to follow her and I was still a bit in shock. She told me she had exactly what I was looking for and I just could not believe it. Here she is, my new Birkin in 30 Gold PHW Togo

Here's my story :)

Both days I was wearing a Hermes shawl, black Burberry polyester coat and adidas sneakers.!
Day 1 - got to fsh with my friend around 8:45. We were 4th in line on the main entrance and there was one person by the side door. 10:30 fsh opened the main entrance and the side door at the same time by the time we were lining up for our appointment, there were about 10 people ahead of us. I got a 11:20 appointment and my friend was served right away. I browsed around the store and tried on some shawls in the scarf section. I ended up buying a shawl from a lovely SA. We chatted a bit. Around 10:53 I was notified that my bag SA is ready. I asked my scarf SA who my bag SA was and she didn't know but still helped me to find someone who knew. I thanked my scarf SA and before she left, I asked for her name. My bag SA came and asked what I was looking for. I told her it was a birthday present for myself and I'm looking for a Kelly in 32 or smaller in dark neutral colours like black, blue, grey. She wrote down on a piece of paper what I wanted but did not asked for my passport. I knew she wasn't going to get me anything. She left for about 10 minutes with a box and offered me a bolide 27 in black. She said kelly and birkin were sold out. I thanked her and said no to the bolide. Then, I asked for the Bearn wallet in black. She showed me the colour they had and I purchased the Bearn wallet and left.
I joined my friend and she wasn't offered anything as well. She went to the scarf section and got a shawl as well.

Day 2 - Tuesday
Lined up around 8:55 and there were much more people than the day before. We were 8th in line by the main entrance and there were no one on the side door at this time. By 9:30 the line up was extremely long. 10:30 they opened the door and again I was given a 11:20 appointment. I joined my friend in the scarf section and she was given a 11:20 appointment as well. I met with the lovely scarf SA from Monday and decided to try on more shawls. I asked if she recognized me from yesterday and addressed her by her name. She was pleasantly surprised that I remember her name. My friend and I purchased more scarves since they just got a shipment and there were many new shawls. Around 11:30 I was notified that my bag SA is ready. I again asked my scarf SA if she know who the bag SA is. This time she said she know who the bag SA is and took me to her. I met with a much friendlier SA than yesterday. She asked for my passport and what I was looking for. I told her a Kelly in 32 or smaller in dark colours like black, grey, blue, etoupe or pink. She asked if I wanted orange, I told her that would be my least favourite. She then asked me for leather choice. I said Epsom, Clemence and Togo. Then she asked about hardware, I said I had no preference. After she asked if I wanted a birkin, I said no unless it's a 25 birkin because I find birkins too heavy for me. She left for about 15 - 20 minutes and when she came back, she asked me to follow her!!! My heart was pounding and I was super nervous! We went upstairs and she said she found something for me but would need to find somewhere quiet to show me. Someone just came out from a room so she said good we can go in. She invited me into the room and then she left. She came back with 2 boxes, big and small. First she opened the box and said its not exactly what you are looking for but its very nice too. It was a corally red 32 Kelly in Togo (It's a new colour, I can't remember the name) She said there is also a 28 Kelly but it's in Orange. She saw that I wasn't too thrilled with the red so she said she can show me the Kelly 28 as well. She also said usually she's not allowed to show 2 purses but she can make an exception. I thanked her and left. After 5 minutes she came back with another box and said I have a surprise for you! She opened the box and revealed a 32 etoupe in Kelly! I was over the moon, said I'll take it and hugged her! She said this bag just arrived and she was very happy when she checked the computer, an etoupe 32 showed up and knew I would love that.
She then showed me the smaller box which is the insert and I told her I have an insert already. After, I asked for some charms that would compliment the bag. I told her I was looking for a rodeo charm. She said they didn't have any. I then asked for the Carmen charm in the bigger size. She left to check and came back with a lagoon alto Carmen which I happily took as well. When we went down to pay, I thanked her again and she gave me her card and said I can find her next time.

Here are some pictures :)

So happy for you!!! Many congrats!

Anyone?? Is there a more appropriate thread that addresses my question? I have been searching around the forum and have yet to find a current list of reputable collectors/resellers
Interesting. I have not seen that yet. If they were not waiting for SA's what do you think all those people were doing there?

I presume waiting on appointments for leather/handbag SAs. The time moves around a lot so I think a lot of people just get there close to the presumed time and find a place to sit. My appointment moved up, then it moved back, then it moved to the original time, then up, then back again and finally settled an hour after the original appointment. I didnt want to stand around in there and risk looking bored or tired so we went outside and walked around. People were doing that too.

When I was looking at the shoes and noticed a a number of people sitting I thought they were waiting for shoe SAs, but then an SA came up to me right away so that's when I realized they were just hanging out. Then I started noticing it in other places. I dont know if I would have noticed it as much otherwise, but once I did, it seemed like people were sitting in every available chair.

There are a lot of SAs however, I always had someone to assist. All of the SAs in the other departments were very friendly. The mens ready to wear SA in particular was really nice.
Perhaps now it might be better to purchase non-leather/handbag purchases at FSH rather than Sevres!

Hello friends! I finally have a few minutes to share my story. I returned from Paris last week after being there for about 5 days. Prior to leaving, I emailed my SA (same one who offered and sold me my K32 from two summers ago) and asked if she would be available to see me upon my arrival to Paris. She got back to me and gave me her schedule for the time I would be in Paris. I arrived on Thursday afternoon, and was planning on seeing her on Saturday since that was the first day she would be available. On Friday, I went to the store to pick up some items I had on my wish list which included a belt kit, a Calvi, and some shoes. I didn't need to wait in line which made the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. All the SAs seemed a lot less stressed than when I was there over the summer. The store also seemed a lot quieter but still very busy. Just not as hectic as it usually is in the summer. Anyway, I returned on Saturday morning around 11:30 and went to the leather good section. I told the woman in charge of appointments that I was there to see my SA and gave her name. She made a call and told me that my SA is waiting for me upstairs. I proceeded to go upstairs and she was waiting for me near belt section. We said our hellos and caught up a little, then she took me to a quieter spot and asked me what I was looking for. I told her I was looking for a B30 in a cool, dark neutral color. I have a Gold B and wanted a color that could be used with darker outfits and during the cooler months. I asked for Black, Plomb, Graphite and Etain. She brought out the size sample for me to try and although I had my mind set on a 30, after carrying the 35, I realized that size would also work for me (even though I know it's significantly heavier). After deciding that a 30 or 35 would work, she left to see what she had available. She came back a few minutes later and told me that the only colors she had in a 30 were reds and oranges. She then told me she has two colors in the 35, Blue Nuit and Etain. She told me the BN would be her choice for me especially since it's with GHW. I realized that a dark navy would probably work just as well if not better with my wardrobe than some of the colors I had mentioned to her, so I asked her to show me the BN. She left and came back with the big box and we left to a private area to view the bag. When she took it out, I immediately loved the color. It is so much richer than I thought and compliments all the colors I was looking to use the bag with. My sister in law was with me so I asked her to come and give me her opinion. She also loved it so I ended up taking the B35 in Blue Nuit :) I loved that my SA suggested this color that I hadn't even thought about!

Thanks for letting me share my story! I hope everyone who's looking to find their dream H bag is successful! I will post pics from my phone in a bit!

Congrats! BN is a gorgeous color. Also good to know appt. is possible.

Here she is [emoji170] B35 in Blue Nuit Togo GHW. The color is darker in real life than in this pic. This is in direct sunlight.

Thank you for sharing the picture and story. Congrats. That is a beautiful color. I wouldnt have asked for that one either because I dont usually think of blue for me personally but It's on my list now for sure. I love it with the gold hardware.

Hi, everyone!
Thanks to your stories and tips I got lucky today and got Birkin 30. It was my first try.
I lined up at 10.15 am, got appointment for 4.20 pm. Then went to look at shoes and got ankle booties.
Later on at the appointment with SA, I asked for "Kelly 28 in Etoupe, and if there is not one in etoupe, then any other neutral color. If there is no Kelly in stock then I would love to have Birkin".
I was not asked my passport although I mentioned that bought shoes earlier in the morning. Also my SA made emphasis on asking if I will buy anything else with bag: I said yes, twillies and wallet.
Few minutes later she came back with one large box and few smaller ones. We went upstairs, and she showed me Birkin 30 in grey with PHW. I decided to get it.
Wallet wise, there were not many colors of Kelly wallet, so I took Bearn wallet in etoupe. Also got two twillies and insert.
P.S. I am not sure if I want to keep this particular wallet, maybe i should have checked other Hermes stores as well for Kelly wallet, do you guys know if returns are accepted in Paris?
