I just put Theodora on tonight too! I didn't notice any shrinkage with that one either though. Even with three coats i have VNL.
I found there is still a VNL also.. i dont notice it too much though!

I might try to remove the tacky layer next time i just flash cured for like 5 sec and it was fine.

DId you have any issues with the glitter beging alittle thicker and almost goopy? i had a really hard time getting some glitter on each nail took forever! I shook and shook had it upsidedown in between my legs. i do love how it turned out though.

I just ordered Theodora yesterday. I hope it applies easily for me too......

I usually warm my bottles the same way, but I didn't yesterday. I warmed for half the usual time for the first hand and then properly for the second hand. I used Vitagel base (I usually use OPI base) and I only dry wiped the base on the second hand and applied the colour coats thicker on that hand. Comparing both hands now the second hand does look better. I'm going to buff and cover though.

I want a polish shaker (and the OPI lamp - total cure time with Vitagel is 11mins!!!!). Trying to find a polish shaker in the UK....

With a dry time like that, I would go crazy. :wtf:

The polish shaker does help, but if I let it go too long it makes bubbles. I use the shaker before I start the mani so that by the time I apply the gel, the bubbles have settled out. Then I just give it a few shakes by hand.

The same machine is also marketed as a Shellac Shaker, but it costs more with the branding. :-s

I haven't worn any of them yet, only swatched, but I had no issues getting them on the larger surface area of the swatch. i always seem to have trouble when it comes ot using it on my smaller nails htough, lol

Here's my mani - three coats I Theodora You (and still VNL, though it was much more opaque on my swatch....?), then a coat of Ink diamond snow and a coat if Ink crystallina. Way more coats than usual for me but I love it despite the VNL.

How does the Sephora GelShine base coat compare to the OPI Gelcolor base coat? Is it as easy to remove?
I couldn't find anything online before I bought my Sephora OPI base coat on how it compares to the OPI. I assumed they must be the same, or at least very similar so I took a chance. I am very happy with it since removal is super easy. I haven't had to use an orange wood at all. I will never go back to the RCM base I used when I began using the SOGs.
