If ebay really worries you and you are willing to pay the shipping, gel-nails.com is a very reliable etailer. Their prices are excellent, but the shipping can get steep. Transdesign also sells the OPI gels, but you have to telephone the order. They also have shipping charges.
I've bought most of mine from Amazon, and without any problem. There is, however always a risk in the marketplace.
So i just checked out that site OMG your right what a good deal and shipping is free in the US if you spend $99. Maybe they change thier policies?

I try not to spend $99 in one shot unless I'm also buying incidentals like wipes, pump bottles, nail polish remover wraps, etc. I've already got too many RNPs, and I don't want to overload on gels. But it is so tempting. Sigh.

Btw, their prices for Gelish are not as good as Amazon, where price usually includes shipping.

no i know the gelish prices about the same, but OPI prices much cheaper even than what i can find them in the licensed supply houses from.

Pulled from the swatch thread since there's no chatting over there ....

Can you be the official tester of "you're such a budapest" and tell us if it's a fader or not?!?! :graucho: I thought about doing it myself but I don't seem to wear lavender shades much out of fear, although I like them!

Anyway I just got the Oz glitters, and I swatched them on a nail wheel for the sole purpose of taking super close macro photos of them to show off the varied glitters. The weather wasn't that great today, but the pictures still came out ok. I tried to get video of them, too, but I was so excited to share them that I didn't even do that or post these photos on my own site yet!

I layered two coats of each color over a black--NaiLuv's "hard core rock".

These gels are a little thicker because of the glitters and trying to get an aesthetic "placement"--I created bubbles with "Lights of Emerald City" because of it! But I didn't do the "upside down polish trick", so maybe I created more hassle for myself. Also notice how odd shaped the squares are? And how the sheer opalescent glitters look like hairs in the wrong light? :confused1:

When I wear Budapest i'll definitely update but it will probably be a whole before I wear it since I just wore a lavender (lechat lilac - which didn't fade and is a dupe for lechat perfect match butterflies)

Yeah I don't think that the squares are evenly shaped but it appeared they are supposed to be that way. And yes I think that the tinsel glitter can kinda look almost furry in some situations. I totally put my bottles upside down before using with these glitters though.

(Thanks, sorry I made all that work for you but I'm glad you replied!)

I know how you feel; my collection is just two small bin's worth and every time I change my nails I think "but I just wore a blue two weeks ago! I don't want to do that again.." or "I just wore that brand, I should try a different one". You could always stick a swatch in the window for a few days? :D IDK, that's something I'm going to have to try myself sometime.

I actually don't mind the hairyness of the bar glitter; what bothers me is that the sheer opalescent glitters in "lights of emerald city" don't always catch the light the right way, and when they don't they look like little hairs, too... at least to me! I was surprised they weren't actually square up close, because to the naked eye I don't really notice it. I had a similar gripe with Gelish's "Silver Sands"... I love opalescent glitters, but I'm never quite impressed with them when I actually use them. Hopefully this one will be different on my nails.

I'm going to have to take your hint and put my bottles upside down when I do a full manicure with them for maximum shininess and distraction!

I've tried to get swatches to fade like that but it never works. I've had a few that have faded slightly over longer times, but then I have other known faders that my swatches haven't changed at all like gelish princess tiara.
