Tough question but would stick to my black 35cm Barenia B with brushed palladium hardware. Heavy yes, but the feel of the leather is just unmatched.. Would be very very hard to part my black 30cm matte porous croc B but its not really a bag I carry around in my daily life...

If you had only one Birkin, that you used everyday, what type of leather/exotic skin would it be and what color?

Yes. Can't go wrong with a classic! I remember Michael Kors said that everyone should own a tote in tan. Can't go wrong with a birkin! What I love so much about gold is the contrast stitiching with PHW. I will never grow tired of this one!

If I could only have one it would be a Fauve Barenia or black B30 With PHW. Strangely I don’t own either yet but I’m content with what I do have.

My one and only which is a B30 in in Noir Ardennes with GHW.

Second choice would be a B35 in Noir Ardennes with GHW, which I sadly sold as I much prefer the B30 size.

My one and only B30 etoupe love it to bits and don't plan to add any more B to my collection (I promised my husband I'd only want one )

I would love to have a well worn Barenia that has darkened to a beautiful brown - B30 with PHW. So, a color that is similar to my B30 ostrich étrusque which just becomes even more beautiful the more I carry it. It has some color darkening as ostrich can do but it makes it easier to carry as I don’t have to be as cautious anymore. It looks amazing when wearing all black!
