One Birkin to Rule Them All

New question: If reasonable(reasonable...thank you to @cravin for pointing out the "reasonability of 12k plus bags....") money isn't an object, would you/have you collect/ed more than one Birkin?

Example: I have one black box vintage Birkin. I am hoping to acquire a ebene Barenia Birkin. I only have a total of 5 purses...

That's easy for me: Blue Jean Togo Birkin 30cm
Of all the bags I have ever owned, this one was my Precious. It went with every outfit I owned (except for one) and worked in every situation I found myself in (except for the beach/pool/gym).
It also worked in every season, unlike my other bags which were too light for winter or too dark for summer.
It was perfection!

Actually, if you’re only going to have one bag, a bag that will survive your granddaughter and still be in style ain’t a bad choice. In fifty years a non exotic Birkin will be $60K and Chanel flaps will be $75K lol.

And if you’re only going to have one Birkin as posited, again, why not have one to wear as much as possible?

If there’s one I’d use everyday, it’d be my gold togo B35 PHW or black ardiennes B35 GHW.

BUT if there’s only one I can keep, it’d be my fuchsia porosus croc B30 PHW. It’s a stunner!

A touch black b is really special!! Dreamy actually. Is the alligator/croc matte or shiny? I also downsized a bunch in the last year and am waiting for my SO to come in. Ordered in Sep or Oct 2020 so I won't hold my breath yet.

She is shiny nilo croc which is totally fine with me but I really love matte alligator. Hope your SO comes soon. I hope mine does not so my wallet can recover from my recent shopping.

If I can only choose one bag it would be my B30 box ghw from 2017 even if I mostly carry B25s. The leather, size and colour makes it a versatile bag. Box is so luxurious and lightweight and it ages gracefully.

I’m probably the only one who carries a B35 in feu in Epsom everyday and I love it!!! I wear a lot of blacks, creams and browns so it works out pretty well for me. I also believe that Birkins are classics irrespective of the size as each person carries the bag differently. What looks good on one person may not necessarily look good on another. Just my 2 cents!!
