Thank you. I was wondering about if Coach moniters ebay. I consider Coach a luxury brand, and to me I treasure each of my purchases. I'm sorry if I offended anyone. FYI, I know nothing about euro brands, but love my Chinese manufactured Coach. These are the most beautiful purses I have ever seen, no matter how others look down on the brand.
Ok, if I were an acutal reseller and got banned why would I be mad?
why would I even bother coming on here to vent?
the letter would've serve its purpose.
Just because i commented on a watermarking then its to basically indirectly saying I'm a reseller for Coach?

yes, shopping can be boring from time to time like anyone and everyone you take on eBay for you less desired item, I hate my chanel bag that has straps that sqeeks so I sold it, I hate the suede Gucci bags I have so I sold those -- and stating oh " I didn't even know about the eBay forum, unitl I read Op's postiong" so? what? b/c I use watermark then I must = to a reseller? isn't it basically hinting that I'm lying about being a reseller?
I can admit I'm cheap when coming to others hence I did say from my original posting stating I buy Coach items as gifts -- because I'm too cheap to buy everyone in my extended family a Chanel/Gucci or any European designer brand.

You've been taking everything the wrong way ever since you came on to my posting.
If I looked down on the chinese made Coach, I wouldn't have started shopping with Coach way back when Coach was only US made.
If I looked down on it, I wouldn't be using it & I wouldn't have that issue today, would I?
As I stated, I like Coach b/c its fun without spending a fortune & I've been shopping with them since I was a young girl.
Its true, people don't get that big of a jab of heartache when the Coach bag get scratched vs. getting a $3K bag scratch up.
Sure both would hurt -- but at least its not $3K down the drain.

i quoted a few members that have admitted to buying a lot, and there are more who probably haven't commented but have done tons of reveals (they can't all be brought at dept stores/ebay/bonz) and while a good chunk is boutique the MAJORITY of it is outlets (seeing the outlet threads in the shopping section)
and from the past "how many coach bags/items you own" threads (not including stuff they've obviously brought for friends/family)..and that number is hugeeeeeeeeee
it makes me think that with what you're saying below, taken as 100% truth
between that, and what members are admitting with their own purchases (and trust, they buy and return a lot more then the breakdown you wrote) makes me think theres something more, otherwise there would be a ton of people who would have received the letter before you, as the letter is not new, has been around for quite some time..
i'm not sure if this means its an error on their part..or what..i just think that for you personally, you have to think whether this is something worth fighting for or not. if i was in your shoes, i'd call and leave my two cents, in a nice tone, and then see if they will do the right thing, if not, then i'd move on.

The opposite actually, we're trying to get to the bottom of this, to better arm you for your confrontation with Coach. We're trying to figure out why--out of everyone in this wide, wide world--you were targeted. Was Coach following you on eBay? What, aside from multiple purchases of multiple items flagged you for this letter? We're trying to be helpful, not hurtful.

...good for you. But that's not the point. We're not investigating, nor do we particuarly bother with peoples personal finances here...but when a normal, day to day shopper says "uhoh, I got banned"...we, as tried-and-true Coach fans, are going to do our very best to figure out why. Because--like I said before--we don't want to be in your shoes! It's really just that innocent and simple, but you're free to take it for what you will...

Wow, that's just a slight overreaction. There are seven full pages of supportive posts here, but one person asks a question and you fly off the handle? With almost everyone being sympathetic and commiserating with you, you get angry and defensive over someone who asks a question? I realize you are hurt and angry with Coach, but don't take it out on the people here, the vast majority of which have been quite supportive of you.

I'm going to disagree with the bold print above. Even if it's only one or two people, that's all it takes to make anyone feels as if they are being attacked. And, she has every right to get upset about it, even if we don't agree.
to be fair though, i've seen quite a few ebay threads (some moving to other sections) where it was found that the OP was scam, pretending to be the victim..obviously OP here is not scammer..but it makes me a bit paranoid, though i do give the person the benefit of the doubt, until further info creeps up..i'm inclined to believe what she says

If I wasn't confused about the letter, I wouldn't be posting on here.
Like I said, I have made big purchases for my mom during the 3 wks she was with me & in the past for my relatives when they've exceed their limit. I personally, when I go don't purchase that much, I'll pick up small clearance items. you know like tiny items that don't even take up much space thats what I mean. Or if I buy clearance bags, I don't buy more than 2 for family...gosh, I've already said this & feel like I'm just repeating myself.
I can't change anyone's position -- to think I'm a reseller, I'm sad to hear that but its a free country-- everyone can think as they please -- just as I'm apparently all of a sudden is insulting everyone buying Coach according to Tiffini

I always pay by credit bc I get the cash back so I can't say if everyone else does that -- if I know this was going to hurt maybe I should pay in cash like many of the Coach shoppers.
And Yes, if I was a reseller -- I wouldn't be that stupid to use my credit card either -- I would be like the resellers who always have a wad of cash.

LadyandThebag...that's the thing...OP have 7 pages full of agreement, including much from me. We're bummed for her...but this is still a forum, a place for education and information...it's important for us to know, as Coach consumers, what triggers a ban.
no need to apologize and no need to really explain yourself further, i've read your comments and i never got the whole "buys a lot" from them.. thats why i find it strange you got the letter to begin with..
some people don't read carefully and skim--it sucks but thats how drama often starts, when people misread, and sometimes, when people aren't clear (but in those cases, i think people should ask for clarification)
anyways, i do think its funny given that you purchase very little compare to the majority here, thus the advice to call.. and see..
and i don't think you need coach, there are tons of other brands out there..if they wrongfully accuse you--its just a shame to let them 'ban' you like that but take the high road

I may have missed it, but I didn't see anyone call you a reseller. I seen someone mention that you sold some bags on Ebay, and then there was question on whether or not Coach watches that kind of thing.

My point was, all it takes is one. And, I don't really think we will every know what triggers a ban. It could be almost anything. If Coach was really trying to do away with resellers, the things that we all see going on in the outlets would not happen. The fact is, they may send a letter to one person and then let 5 more get away with the same behavior.
