Just saw this Danse bag on Ebay for $1900 USD. I am so temped, but it ships from China. Thoughts?
I don't have the skills to tell if this authentic, but just so you know, there have been reports of fake Moynat bags
The color of the taurillon leather is wrong. It looks taupe but should match the nubuck.
I found some old iPad photos. Notice the matching or obvious contrasting leathers. Bagnut1 is spot-on about the color.
I didn’t remember the Danse having side snaps. All my old photos show the Danse w/ no snaps. And last, notice the edging.

Moynat — I don’t like LVMH, it’s almost too understated, and it’s more than I’d like to spend on a Moynat bag, but I love the look and it’s size (pm).
Joseph Duclos — I’m waiting for a more climate-friendly leather and it costs $$$$$ more than the Gabrielle, but it’s handmade and the hardware/metal plate is stunning.
I think I know what I want to do. I’m curious about your thoughts.
