Moynat — I don’t like LVMH, it’s almost too understated, and it’s more than I’d like to spend on a Moynat bag, but I love the look and it’s size (pm).
Joseph Duclos — I’m waiting for a more climate-friendly leather and it costs $$$$$ more than the Gabrielle, but it’s handmade and the hardware/metal plate is stunning.
I think I know what I want to do. I’m curious about your thoughts.

I say the JD. The M bag is gorgeous, and if you have unlimited funds then get both, but if you have to decide, as I would, 100% the JD bag. The price isn't much more than the M bag, but the quality is through the roof. I think it will be a true honor to own an original JD bag for many years to come. Personally I’d go for the Gabrielle but I’m going to SO it in black box because I’m not really into the carat/epsom leather. The Gabrielle is also handmade, and for now I’m still not into the too much hardware of the Diane. It’s very bling-y for me. Plus, I really like the Gabrielle’s shape over the Diane.
I also need help! So I own Moynat Gaby bb grey with SHW and special order Gabrielle bb in gold/brown berania leather with GHW. Now I’m debating whether I should get 1) Gabrielle clutch ultra black 2) Gabrielle PM ultra black or 3) JD Diane clutch bag? So torn!
I’m not sure if this has already been discussed before. I really like the quality of Moynat bags and has been following this brand since 2018, but I haven’t seen that many Moynat bags on the resale market.
Although the price is pretty good considering the quality of the purse (compare to other luxury brands like Hermes LV or chanel), you wouldn’t say the actual price for a Moynat purse is cheap. A lot of people say buying purses is like investment. Just wondering if Moynat purse hold value well that we can consider it an investment? Or we can see in the near future that Moynat will become a good investment?

First, I’d like to thank everyone for their input. I’ll write my choice soon. If I can, I’ll buy both because they convey different vibes. I can see the Moynat on public transportation and walking in downtown areas. I see the JD Diane in the malls/flagship stores and Main Street style galleries, shops, and eateries.
As for your dilemma — you have a wonderful array to choose from. As allanrvj put it, “It depends on the look you want” and how much you want to carry. I looked at the Gabrielle clutch at Harrods — it’s beautiful, but doesn’t hold much. I think the pm makes a gorgeous day bag, but I don’t know if it has that evening “little black bag” look for parties, if that’s what you like. The JD Diane clutch is gorgeous, period. The leather is amazing, but it’s a smaller bag.

not a good investment in terms of reselling. buy only if you really really really like, because you will not get your money back if you decide to resell it. you'll be lucky if it gets even accepted because very few resellers accept them--also the reason why you don't see a lot of preloved Moynat bags being sold.
there are many threads on this topic (not only for Moynat), and a search would bring them up.
They are a good value if you plan to invest in quality and use it for many years but a terrible investment should you try to recoup via reselling. You’d be better of gifting it to a friend/family.
Moynat bags are not a good investment. They’re to be enjoyed. They lose too much in resale.
I’m finished with selling bags. Any bag I buy from now on I need to see as a forever, carry-it-until-it-falls-apart or my daughter inherits it bag. In the US, the IRS and resale companies are cracking down on taxing bag owners’ profits if they cannot prove they lost money on a transaction.
I’m extremely particular and do not impulse buy. Oh, boy! I’m no longer any fun.
No impulse purchases.
I’m finished with selling bags. Any bag I buy from now on I need to see as a forever, carry-it-until-it-falls-apart or my daughter inherits it bag. In the US, the IRS and resale companies are cracking down on taxing bag owners’ profits if they cannot prove they lost money on a transaction.

Size wise, not necessary certain size but not too small that’s not functional/practical or too big that it’d be too heavy or misshaped and that’s why I put Gabrielle PM ultra black there.

(2) (Hopefully) no sales
(3) Choice of leathers, thread colors, and special accommodations
Moynat used to make special accommodations (without a fee). That sold me on the company. They lost me for a while after the first sale. It sickened me to see bags 25/40/50% off after people on TPF paid full price days or weeks before.
