On the other hand, ive also been on the fence with the Gabrielle clutch. Only waiting for the perfect color combo. Not really a fan of gold and the ultramatte hw.
Is there a Joseph Duclos retailer in the US? Im kinda new-ish to this brand but love the Diane except the blingy sides like you mentioned. The clutch looks better coz less bling. Love the hardware. Imagining this clutch in black box with silver hardware

Dunno about other Moyat retailers in the US. I live in the EU
And I know there’s only one store of Joseph Duclos. It’s in Paris, same street as the Hermès headquarters. They do have online appointments so you can set up a Zoom, Whatsapp, Skype calls to know more about their products before you buy. There’s a form on their website where you can schedule.

There are only two locations in US for Moynat - South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa CA and NYC inside Sakes. The SAs are very nice. You can call them and perhaps do a FaceTime to view.
Is it possible to SO a Gabrielle in box leather? Are other colours besides black available for an SO?
Question — Are you asking about ordering other Gabrielle color choices with the black hardware? I don’t think the black hardware is available for SO bags.
SO Gabrielle are available in many colors — at least they used to be. And box was available for a few SO bags during Ramesh’s tenure. His artisans produced box clutches, so the company had the leather on hand.
I’m unsure if box is a SO Gabrielle choice now. It’s a difficult leather to work with so not all craftspeople are qualified to make box bags.

I was wondering if it is possible to SO a Gabrielle in box. I haven’t seen many Moynat handbags in box recently and never a Gabrielle. And I am not very famililar with the leather and colour options for an SO.

I have had my Eggplant Gabrielle since 2019. I wore her constantly for about a year and then I added new bags to my rotation. Now I use her primarily in the winter or when I’m traveling because she is a tough cookie. I don’t have any scratches in the leather, worn corners or edges nor pulled/loose stitches. I have some very light scratches on the clasp hardware. She is my ”go to” bag because I don’t need to baby her and she holds what I need on busy or travel days. I’m very happy with the quality and durability of this bag. Good luck!
