Do you need a tote more than you do a small handbag, or vice versa? I really think it comes down to whichever one you would use more/need more.

I have been shying away from totes just because I don’t need so much space in a bag anymore. I carry a wallet, keys sunglasses and phone.
I’ll be honest- the camera bags, while super cute, look like a gift for a teen girl. The tote looks a little more like a casual bag to carry extras in while still carrying a more grown up bag alongside it. I think you get away with just about anything for a casual tote.
Then I wouldn't get a tote just because it has a character you like on it. If you won't really use it, you will regret it down the line. If the bag will work better for you, I would do that.... or go with an accessory with Dumbo instead. Sometimes that works well too, and saves from having an extra bag that you might not use.
I like the camera bag for this reason, although the tote is cute I feel once it gets dirty I won’t be able to keep it clean at least the leather can be wiped clean with coach cleaner and conditioner.
Can I have whatever you send back to the wild- pretty please (like that bag charm!
I love my first generation Rogue. If I found another at a reasonable price, I'd buy it. I keep looking for the one in mineral because it has gold/brass hardware, but right now, they are selling for more than they did when they came out!

Well, turns out I couldn’t be without the tote, I ended up returning the camera bag to Coach. Although it was adorable and all I just liked the tote more. The tote seems more like a better fit for me, I like the palm tree floral print ( especially since I live in Florida) and the charm hangs better on the tote than the camera bag, plus it was the cheapest of the two. As a 41 year old I do carry Disney coach bags so it does not matter which I picked. But I just fell in love with tote and it was the last one Bloomingdales had. I got it from their main store in NY city. The rep who helped me said it was the last one they had and it had been in their stock room wrapped in the plastic still sealed. He said it seems you were meant to have it. So it feels special to me.

I love totes, but like you, I don't need so much space anymore, but I've managed to find some nice smaller totes that are the perfect size. Unfortunately, most are too large or too tiny, but there's a few perfect sized ones out there in different brands. So don't give up on totes!
How did I miss the Tinker Bell earrings at initial launch?? (At least they're still available)
