Thank you, zjones. I think I may have to pass on it, then. I do have quite a few things I need to carry, so it looks like the bag isn’t for me.

I think you should test it before you purchase. I think a very slight variation in how tightly the kisslock closes can make a difference.

I have used pliers to squeeze the locks in order to make it tighter. Not with a Coach bag, but other kisslock bags. I used a piece of fabric top protect from ruining the locks.

I got to see the new Lane bag at my local store last night. I went in specifically to look at the color block one and really love it for a non 1941 bag. It has a mixture of leathers and it's just really well-made. There are feet on the bottom and it comes with a detachable strap that you could wear crossbody. The bag is not too big that it looks odd crossbody either and there are multiple interior pockets. The bag opens very wide so I did not feel like I would have the problem of getting in and out of it. I'm definitely considering it, even though it doesn't have my normally required outside pocket. In my opinion, you can't beat the price, particularly with the extra 30% off during the current promotion. My store is waiting to get the darker Peach one, which is some one I'm also considering. Right now, I may be leaning towards the color block one. Anyway, just wanted to share. It may definitely be something that you want to check out next time you're there!
