I thought I wanted the new trim...then thought maybe not and didn’t mention it to my SA...then finally saw them on display at my store and after trying on both sizes, the 24 came home with me. It fits more than enough for me, and I just loved how it wears on me. And the adjustable strap is great!

I was finally able to try the new Trim 24 at the store and I was surprised how much I liked it. Perfect for crossbody wear (adjustable quite a bit), flat against the body but still enough room. It seemed like an incredibly useful bag. I‘m sold on it and am waiting for the right colour to come in now (the one I tried was in Lime which was lovely but not useful enough for me).
Were you able to purchase the Trim 24 Duo yet? I am looking at ordering this online from Hermes.com in the Volupto Calfskin. It looks like a beautiful leather. Does anyone have any thoughts on this leather or the size of this bag? For example, how functional is it? I carry cash, card holder, keys, phone, lipstick, sunnies. TIA

I have the 31 trim (I have a picture above). It is perfect for me. I tried the 24 Duo (ordered online) and found it immediately too small for what I carry, which isn't a lot. I carry a Calvi, small cosmetic case, Iphone 12, key fob, sunglasses (without case) daily and in the 24 duo they didn't fit well and were kinda sticking out the top. I sent it right back. I don't know anything about Volupto Calfskin.

Hello all! New to the forum:) I love the look of the trim and have heard great thing about how well the leather wears- I'm just worried about it being practical or not? From what I'm reading, it seems like the 31 would be a good fit for someone of my size (5'3). Does anyone here wear it crossbody style- and does it work well?

It’s so cute, and I came very close to getting one for Xmas this year, but the new Trim 31 won out in the end. We’re in yet another lockdown though, so it has yet to leave it’s box!

Could you please tell me how the Trim 31 fits crossbody? Do you know what the longest strap drop is? I am 5’ 11” 180cm. The Hermes models may be a little shorter than me because many of the crossbody bags do not fit a taller woman (the Aline for example did not hit me right)

If I use it on the shortest strap hole it hits me below my waist when I wear it on my shoulder, which is also about where the C24 hits me if I wear it single strap on a shoulder (if that helps). It’s a little low for my liking and I would wear this bag more crossbody personally. I’m quite petite though (I can wear my C24 crossbody too).

Hmm like 57 centimeters? Assuming to middle of the bag. I hope this is what you meant ^^;

That is so helpful. Thank you for sharing the strap drop.

Just seeing your message now, sorry for the slow reply!! I actually haven’t worn the bag yet, even though it was my Xmas gift! We have been in a perpetual lockdown where I live, so I haven’t needed to use one of my bags yet. But I am quit’s short (only 5’4”), and when I tried the bag on for the first time, I wore it crossbody and it was the ideal length using the longest “setting” on the strap. I do love that the strap on this bag can be adjusted so you can wear it several ways (like my Halzans). Not sure if any of this helps you though!

Great piece! Did you try looking for the date code under the end of the strap next to the buckle?

Hi Trim lovers, I just received this pre-loved Trim bag and it's a delight! I can see myself carrying it in the spring or summer.
I have a question though - could anyone share where I can locate the year stamp? Want to know how old this bag is. Many thanks!

This is good to know, I’ve been admiring the 24 online but I wonder if it’s too small. I haven’t been able to get to a boutique in almost a year to try either!

Received my Trim 24 duo yesterday. I was very concerned with the drop length when worn crossbody. I sent a message to Hermes asking for the bag's longest drop. Their response, "Our Trim Duo 24 bag's strap measures 9.1" long." Huh? Will hit right under my arm? I'm 5'9" and simply can't stand it when a drop is too short. Their response didn't make sense so I looked elsewhere for measurements and found it at a preloved site. I have seen photos of younger people wearing cross-bodies higher, above the waist too? Too uncomfortable for me. At any rate, I decided to take a chance.

Well! Purchased the lime/yellow and to my delight it fits Perfectly! PERFECTLY!.....on the last hole. I love the way it snuggles to the body.....snuggles?......need to find another word.....it truly is that comfy. It 'was' going to be the last designer bag I would ever purchase....yes, I'm up there....I already have beautiful pieces in different colors/sizes for any occasion. Had a hard time rationalizing this cute thing but my heart kept repeating....you don't have a color like this! My brain tried to calm my heart.....she lost.

This is a terrific errand bag. It holds my essentials nicely and oh so comfortable while doing so....ok, you caught me, I just received her yesterday and haven't worn her out of the house but I have pounced from one mirror to the next checking every angle in different lighting and was comfy the entire time.

Yes, I wrote, above, that this 'was' to be my last designer bag.....but......late last night while trying to go to sleep I kept thinking, "You don't have a dark brown. You have tan/cammeo, black, blue, denim, tweed, etc. but not a rich dark brown." Through sleepy eyes and yawns I grabbed my iPad and clicked away for the Trim 24 in the Havane and immediately hit the sheets. I thought for Sure I would wake this morning with regrets.....nope! It was the right choice. She'll be here this coming week.

SO! I am complete.....no more bags!!!

Not sure I'm listening.

Congrats on your two Trim bags! Can you share pics of the bags in action whenever you get the chance? I’m also looking for an under-the-radar/comfy/no fuss/flat bag and am considering Double Sens (although not similar to the Trim) or Trim. I do have a Halzan 25 and use it most of the time… but sometimes it can’t fit my kids’ random things.

In action? You mean take a photo with it on? I can do that.

Kids? No, the 24 trim isn't for a mom with young kids when out and about. However, on those days you can walk out of the house without the kids and a bag packed with anything/everything you might need to accommodate the little ones.....that day will all too soon.....keep this one in mind.

I checked out the two bags you mentioned......very nice.
