Bumping...
Thanks for bumping this bag. Such an underrated style. The fashionistas are talking about zipper styles like the Trim coming back for Fall. Once this happens the prices will go up quickly. There are still bargains out there if anyone is interested. I just pulled my blue jean out to wear this coming week.

I completely agree, these types of short shoulder bags are so coming back this fall.

I only have one mini right now. I do want another trim but haven't had luck finding any in the preloved market right now! If anyone sees any preloved ones online pls DM me!

And is Trim II unfinished from inside? I mean raw? Just like evelyne/picotin. TIA
I don't know if you received a response to your question, but the Trim II (with gusset) in the 31cm size is unlined/unfinished. I have a Trim II 35 from the year 2000 and it is unlined with one open and one zipped pocket on the inside. The Trim II in the 35cm size is lined.

I don't own a Trim I (yet!), but I believe the older ones are all unlined.

Is H still making the trim II? I’ve really been craving this style lately, but I only ever see the new style flat ones at H, and I am not having luck finding one resale. Ideally a 35…

I tried every way to take a photo with me wearing this luscious Trim Duo 24 that arrived this morning. I gave up. So.....below are two photos under different lighting. The first has more natural light and the second near the light cast from a 'warm' light bulb.

I knew I was going to love the style and thought I'd love the color but....the color.....so beautiful, much richer in person. I can wear with all my fall/winter clothes. Ha! Which is basically what I wear in the summer.....white shirt/top.....but in the winter I throw on a cardigan. I will probably wear it before summer ends.....white linen pants and white linen shirt will be a lovely backdrop to show off this piece, making it the star and has me grinning as I type.

Must add: The scarf is a dear one...purchased in 1977 on a shopping trip to the finer stores in down town Los Angeles/Beverly Hills with an older woman, my mother's age. She had great taste and guided me to lovely items I could barely afford at the time. I carried only cash. Can't remember if it was Neimans....Berdorf....I should remember. The store was elegant as was the lovely lady. At any rate, she urged me to purchase a leather belt....which I grew too large to wear but still have.....and the scarf....both on sale. Although on sale, they were still pricey for my young budget. Loved the belt she chose but the silk scarf's print wasn't my taste at the time. She assured me I was going to wear it for decades in different ways and to always purchase the finest pieces I could afford.....not a bunch of 'stuff'. She was right. I've warn this scarf in different ways for 44 years and counting. Isn't she perfect for Miss Trim.

The bag is beautiful and believe it too will be around in 44 years.....I won't....hopefully my grand-daughter will appreciate/enjoy all my finer pieces and not sell them at a yard sale......I'll haunt her if she does.....she's been warned. ;).

I love everything about this post. Do you find the bag too small?

Awwwww! You made my day and I needed this day to have a positive. Thank you!

Yes, it is small but big enough for my iPhone 12, little Chanel coin purse, keys, sunglasses and a small thin credit card case....still have room left over. It's perfect for me when running errands....grocery store, etc. It's also very comfortable to wear crossbody...I'm 5'9"....hits at the right spot and sits close to this little ole body.....no complaints.. ..still on this side of the grass. ;)

Hello Trim lovers,

Does anyone know if the Trim was ever made with a detachable, thin strap?
I ask because I saw what I was almost certain was a Trim, but I'd never seen that style strap. I'm assuming it was detachable, as the bag had two metal o-rings sort of like an evelyne.

Did it have a name? Or was there maybe a very similar design? Or maybe I saw a knock off?
