In SF. I would’ve thought they have stock...or at least able to add me on the list since I’ve been a client for two years!

I haven’t shopped much last year since COVID...but was surprised my SA wasn’t able to even get me a picotin! Sigh, I had already given up on trying for a B or K with this store, but thought a picotin isn’t too much to ask for

Interesting, SF is my home store too. Maybe my SA is just yanking my chain telling me she can get me a P18... I'm continuing the hunt online obviously :)

So here's my first P18, in the casaque tricolor noir/blue nuit/blue frida. I owe this find entirely to Meta, RT1 and this amazing TPF forum. Took a screenshot of this chat and sent to my SA, expecting to hear nothing helpful, when lo and behold the store had just received a shipment of 2 the day before. Crazy and amazing! Love everything about this little cutie. Thanks again to all of you fellow H lovers...

Aww beautiful! May I ask, what part of this chat did you send to your SA... was there something specific? Also, did it happen to be SF that got a shipment?

I just sent her a screenshot of the bag posted earlier in this thread (the P22 tricolor) and asked my SA if she had ever seen one. I think it was sheer luck that there happened to be a shipment at exact same time and no one had previously requested this specific bag. I'm out on the East Coast. Earlier, my SA had told me earlier that for a P18, I needed to request a particular color combo so she could put me on a list to reserve the bag before it came to the store. That being said, I had seen a P18 in the Hermes orange (so cute) once prior and P22s several times in the store. (this was helpful because I knew I could commit to a Picotin without seeing it first). I know Noveltwist was discouraged by her SAs response - my SA did tell me that the lighter colors like Craie are incredibly popular so perhaps that was one of the reasons her SA was less optimistic. I would describe my SA as being very cautious and conservative in terms of promising bags, but we were both delighted at how the timing happened to work out in this case.
