Ode to the Picotin

I think it depends on the country. I'm in Australia and I was super lucky to get mine on the website, I have a Picotin 18 in Vert Foncé. I was hunting this bag for around 6 weeks and kept checking the website multiple times daily. It came up Monday morning at 10.30 and I never checked out so fast on my life!
I had also been offered the Picotin 22 in store in Vert Foncé but declined on the day (and kicked myself after 🫣😆 which resulted in me hunting it down again). I did buy silk scarves for around 3k, a Pegasus and a mini Evelyne a few months prior to being offered the Picotin. But to be honest I think they'll sell them if they click with you and have it in stock.

Is there a separate thread for the Picotin pocket? If not, please share your reviews.

I really like the look but I am not sure how to take care of the canvas, also the bag seems stiff and “open” when new and things can fall out more easily. Will it get softer with use?

Hi, I have mine since 2 years now but I use it occasionnally because I am not using handbag on a daily basis, during the week I only use my work bag.

So yes, the picotin cargo or picotin pocket is more stiff than full leather picotin in taurillon clemence for exemple because the leather itself is naturally soft. The toile is really hard.
The toile catches the dust but it comes off easily with a soft brush.
I am just afraid in case of a stain because if you rub hard on the toile it will show for sure.
