Gorgeous! I tried on a black P18 last week with a similar strap but the SA told me the strap cost more than the bag! I think I tried a 70cm Small Dog Ronds strap... what is yours? The combo is gorgeous! Please let us know how it wears

It is the Mini Dog Carres and the length is 90 cm from clasp to clasp. Yes, it almost cost as much as the bag and I really agonized over getting it. I was thinking maybe I should be getting a second P18 instead of the strap, but I fell in love

I LOVE it! Totally a great decision IMHO. I tried on a black P18 with that Ronds strap and can’t stop thinking about it... The only thing that saved me from an expensive purchase was hoping to find a P18 in gold or other non-black neutral

Ahhhh! Thank you, thank you. They had a Rouge de Coeur P18 with GHW at Madison but no matching strap when I was there. I've been hoping I made the right decision, thank you! I can imagine that the black P18 with the strap would be fabulous as well, but personally like the P shape in a color or non-black neutral. I'm already dreaming of my next P!

In the past, I had a Picotin 22 in black. I love black bags but that bag didn't make my heart sing. Rehomed it and I just picked myself a new Picotin from the store last week. This time it is in anemone, smaller (18), and in GHW. I am loving my new baby. Brought her to a garden wedding lunch yesterday (with twilly) and today, with my happy charm! I think I am going to get a yellow one in the future!

Does the open top of the P18 bug you when on shoulder? That’s my only worry...

I haven’t really taken her out in public yet but I will let you know how it goes with the bag open when using the strap. I have a feeling the opening is still relatively small and I can keep the bag close to me or use the closure/lock if in a crowded place.

Hi Hermés-lovers! I’ve quite recently started to lust after a Picotin, and as I’ve never had any Hermés bags before I have a few questions for you
1. Is it right that pretty much anyone can order this bag from Hermés, there isn’t any «requirement» for buying history and such, as it is with the Birkin, Kelly and Constance?
2. Can I customize it like people do with the bags mentioned above, can ask for a certain leather, colour on leather and stitches and hardware?

I just wanted to share my excitement from this morning when I scored my holy grail Picotin from H online

I was perusing the website and stumbled across a whole bunch of Picotin 18s and 22s in different colors. I saw this beautiful bleu nuit Picotin 18 with silver hardware and thought I would just get it. But of course I was too slow because when I added it to my cart, it said it was already sold out.

As I was going back and refreshed the page, my holy grail combination popped up and my heart stopped for a second: a gold with gold hardware Picotin 18! I checked out so fast. I didn’t even think twice. After successfully checking out, I read the description and it said it was a Maurice leather bag. And after doing some reading here on the forum, I think this is my ultimate perfect combination.

Thanks for letting me share my excitement! This year is already off to an amazing start.

Will share pictures when I pick her up. In the mean time, here is a mod shot of me with the Picotin 18. I am 5’4 and between a size 2/4 US.
