I agree! I initially thought it was too close to Blue Jean, then I compared it side by side with my Dogon (in that color) and the Blue Jean looked like the... dirty version of Blue Saint-Cyr (apologies to Blue Jean lovers out there - didn’t mean to offend!!!!!)
Yes - at CDG my DH was told he had to spend at least 2,000 euros before he would be allowed to buy a Lindy, so completely normal practice there it seems. I have bought them in H stores in Europe without buying anything else on that day, but they were stores where I had spent money previously.
I hate that they hold it as random to sell other product lines. What kind of business practice is this ?
When I think of fine jewelry, I would never go for Hermes That's probably why they bundle the sale with leather goods...(personal opinion)

Hi everybody, I requested Lindy 30 in Gris asphalt and my SA offered it to me today. However, it is SHW but I want GHW. Also, I already rejected Bleu Nuit with GHW because I found the color very dark. I want GHW because all my jewelry is GHW. Should I worry about matching the hardware? Also since this is my first Hermes handbag purchase, I dont know if it ok to reject a bag once again. What are your thoughts?
You should only get what you really want but you should also be aware that GHW on lindy is not that common though. Only certain colors will come with GHW.
Midnight blue is Bleu Nuit and while it may not be right seasonal color for FW17, delivery for Hermes varies. More often than not the color for the season arrives later than intended, hence you were able to purchase your Lindy in Bleu Nuit. I think it's a beautiful versatile color. Enjoy and wear it in the best of health!
Thank you so much for answering my query. I have another silly question to ask. Is it rare for lindy to have only 1 color for inside and out. I saw most of my friends carry lindy with bi colour - internal and external colour is different.
Bi-color is less common. There would be only 1 or 2 options of bi-color ones every season. You friends are just lucky to have them. You can always get your 2nd one bi-color since you already got one.
