I just saw a Maurice online. Looks like a bit finer grain than clemence but it was for me to tel the difference

Hi y’all! I’ve been browsing this thread for a while now admiring all the beautiful Evelyne’s.. I have decided that I want to purchase a mini for my birthday (end of March)!
I have contacted H via phone today in the Netherlands since our stores are closed due to lockdown. They said that for bags, they can not look in the system and see what is available, I will have to make an appointment once they reopen for customers starting next week.. From what I’ve read in this thread it seems that the mini’s are quite rare to come by! So fingers crossed, hoping that I will be offered one in time for my b-day
Does anyone have any tips? Would it help to purchase something in the store while I’m there asking about the bag? This will be my first H bag! Super excited
Replying to my own post here hehe! No luck with the instore SA's due to lockdown however I miraculously scored a mini in Deep Blue maurice yesterday on H.com!!!! My birthday is on Sunday and it seems like it will arrive just on time on Saturday

I was cleaning out my closet and discovered this LV twilly that perfectly matches my etoupe Evie! Do you think a simple knot will hold? 
I had ordered an insert for my new PM bag as well as a Garden Party insert from Jenny Kraft on Etsy. I knew I was getting a black PM so I had ordered before I had the bag. It took a very long time until they arrived and when they did the GP insert had a gold zipper instead of silver which I had specified and I was sent what might be a TPM insert instead of a PM although it's teeny and I am not really sure. She said she will redo my order so I will wait and see what happens before following up with Etsy but in the interim I found a seller in the US who makes inserts and I ordered one for the PM and I received it within 5 days of order. Look at your wardrobe and determine if it leans warm/strong or cool/muted.
Prob better go Etoupe if it runs cool or muted or go Gold if warm or stronger.
I'm pretty neutral but try to avoid Etoupe because I need stronger definition.
I would double knot it. When I purchased my Etoupe Evelyn 33 I also purchased a maxi twilly to use as a handle. The manager tied it for me in a beautiful rope style with a single knot. When I left the boutique my brand new bag went crashing onto the sidewalk. Thankfully there was no damage but I double knot everything now

Yes I have had it happen. I once read that if you pay attention to the direction of the snap opening when you attach it to the bag it is less likely to happen. I haven't figured out what that direction is!
