I have an etain evelyne and it's definitely more grey than etoupe. I think it can be a chameleon color as it looks slightly different in lighting, next to certain colors. When I purchased I originally asked for etoupe, but my SA only had etain. Glad I made the choice to purchase! I receive several compliments on the color.

could you please post a picture of your etain evelyne? Is that gris etain? Thanks!

Hi All - first time Evie buyer who is having some remorse tonight. I picked up 29 in black with PHW at my local boutique today as a birthday present to me however the strap had white stitching on it which the SA said was a special strap and something they do not get often. I looked backed through some older posts and it is called a sellier strap. I brought it home but I am feeling unsure about the strap for a few reasons the predominant one being that I think the white color will get dirty and possibly the stitching may not wear well or or fray and also because I am thinking it almost looks like it did not come with the bag. Has anyone seen this strap before with a black bag? I hate to be picky and not sure if they can swap the strap with full black one if they have one or if I will need to do a full return. My second question is where do you find the date stamp on these bags? I have some vision issues and was having a hard time finding it. I will call on Monday and will likely return it if I can't get black/black but curious if anyone has any opinions or thoughts. Thanks,

where is this stamp located? I can't exactly tell by your photo and just bought my first Evie today and looking for it. Thanks.

I was about to ask about the lack of Evelyne on the website but noticed others have already posted. I was thinking of getting an Evelyne but could find only one and sometimes none on either the Canadian or US website. They used to have many in different colors just a couple of years ago. I don’t want to call my SA yet.

I’ve been keeping an eye out for the Evelyne on the website as I really want the tpm. Last week on the Canadian website I had seen the Evelyne pm show up in the Nata and Trench colour. I also saw one in the tpm in etoupe but I was too slow and couldn’t checkout even though it was add to cart. They do pop up on the site but it’s all luck and being on the website at the right time.

Thanks for letting me know! I’ll have to visit the site more frequently. I’d like a blue electric/nuit or may be red. I saw a suede one last month but will definitely dirty it the first time I carry it so a no-no. ;)

I only remembered that it was before the pandemic so 2019 could have been it. It wasn’t that long ago (not in the last year). Someone mentioned it on the H forum somewhere. Sorry, that’s all I can remember. Perhaps someone else can chime in or search for a thread on date stamps.

I am swapping out for the black with the all black strap! I know I will be happier.
