I just picked up my first Evelyne 29 and am wondering how you guys all store your Evelynes when not in use. Thanks, all! So excited to use this amazing daily bag.

I picked up these leather strap attachments that allow you to attach a maxi twilly to use as a handle or shorter strap. Rather than try to recreate the rope like look I used a series of knots that another SA showed me how to do. Much easier!

I haven't tried to recreate the problem after the third time it happened but basically the loop spring somehow opened and the strap came off the bag. The last time it happened the bag ended up on the asphalt and I just gave up and put it back in the box. I see the SA on Friday. He didn't seem totally surprised so it made me think that's it's not completely uncommon.

I have too, very rarely though, maybe 3 times (and I've worn it almost every day for 1.5 years). It's annoying but I've always managed to catch it.

Hi! I've just been offered a TPM in sauge, and am hesitating over whether to take it. It is really beautiful in person, but this is likely my only hermes for a while... Any advice? I wear primarily black and white. tia

Sauge is an absolutely stunning color and surprisingly neutral. Especially if you wear primarily black and white, it would make for the perfect pop. I couldn't decide which Evelyne color I wanted for a while because I'm mainly a neutrals girl as well, but with the Evelyne my SA and I both felt that even the slightest pop of color really brings out the beauty of the bag and makes it more fun. (I ended up with Vert Cypress because I just could not take my eyes off of it). I say go for the Sauge, but only if it makes your heart flutter. Another thing I would consider is your skin tone, whether or not you think it goes well with your skin tone.
Yes, this happens to me to both of my Evelyne's but I noticed it happens when I set my bag down. I also thought it was odd. I'm curious to know what your SA says. Please provide an update.
The times it's happened to me were all when I was picking the bag up. That's why I couldn't quite catch it. I was just so surprised. I hadn't had that happen to me with any bag in a long time and didn't expect it from H. I'll update tomorrow after I see my SA. Glad to know I'm not the only one but, on the other hand, I'm disappointed that it's happening at all.
