Lots of Evie 29 on the US h.com today. Had to hold myself back from the elusive vert Cypress with gold - I just bought two and a third is not in the cards for me right now.

Just saw that! I almost grabbed the Vert Cypres/GHW as well but doesn’t VC look *much* more almost-black in real life? Online it looked like this really rich beautiful green (almost emerald)... is that really true or just inaccurate color representation and almost-black is more correct?

It's a dark green in real life. Almost with a little blue undertone. It's like a very dark malachite, almost. Very pretty.

These pics on Ann's are pretty true to the color IMO. https://www.annsfabulousfinds.com/products/hr-q0319-02-hermes-vert-cypress-togo-birkin-25

What makes an Evie an “Amazone” bag?

For example, on the USA website right now there is a black 29 and a black 16. They both appear identical (except the size) but the 16 is listed as Amazone. Both bags have black leather and black straps. Does it have to do with the “wooly canvas” strap? That detail isn’t called out in the 29 item description but the two straps both look like basic woven canvas?

I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while now... I thought Amazone was a strap that was either multicolor (patterned or stripes, or different front/back) or a different color from the bag leather (like gold bag with brique strap).

My SA recently offered me two Amazone Evies, both had the same color strap as leather. Totally confusing to me!

Additionally can anyone ID the tan and white strap in the last attachment?IMG_6944.JPGIMG_6945.JPGIMG_6946.JPGIMG_6947.JPGIMG_6948.JPGIMG_6541.JPG

I have gris perle, craie, and rose extreme and none really have an issue with color transfer, but I do wash my jeans in salt/vinegar to set the color which probably helps.

This is exactly the information I was looking for :-) I am considering a light color (both GP and craie) and wondering if jeans would be a problem. Does your bag actually touch on your hip/jeans and still no color transfer? If so then yay for me!

Also how do the light color straps do with normal wear/handling?
