Made my own Evelyne strap.......well sort of.
I do not like the adjustable straps. I took apart two Hermes straps I was not using and made what I wanted. Over the years I had accumulated three gold Kelly/ Bolide straps. These straps were the length I wanted for my Evelyne. I knew I could fail and just destroy straps but held my breath and did it. Success! Picture shows clasp I removed from old Kelly strap and the replacement clasp. I used the same linen thread Hermes uses. You can see my stitches are not quite as perfect as Hermes.....but I am happy and have the exact strap length I want without adjustment hardware. My Evelyne is Clemence and leather on strap is Courchevel, but okay for me. I did not want to wait forever for a special order.

Hi Evelyne lovers - I’m just beginning to fall in love with this bag but I need some help. Many of the posts here reference TPM, PM and GM. On the Hermes website though, they use numbers 29, 33 and 40. I assume the 29 is the TPM, 33 is the PM and the 40 is the GM. Is that correct? It appears the 33 PM is the most popular size. Additionally, there weren’t any pictures of what fits inside this bag, although it’s referred to many times as a workhorse. Does anyone have a “what’s in my Evelyne picture.” Thank you as my journey on this slippery Hermes slope begins.
TPM is actually 16cm and not often found on the site due to supply/demand. The PM is the 29, GM=33, and TGM=40. A google image search for “Hermes Evelyne sizes” is probably the quickest way to get an idea of which size might work best for you.

. I’m currently using the LV mini pochette, coins holder and Chanel wallet. I would recommend the mini pochette for holding other essentials things when you carry the Evie. I’ve attached the photo for you to see. Hope this help!

The TPM has been popping up a bit more frequently on the EU site over the past 2-3 weeks. I have one in noir PHW coming o Monday and other colours I have seen are rose extreme, jaune ambre, another yellow and something turquoise. They seem to just be added one at a time and are quickly purchased so it's quite the challenge trying to get one. The US site seemed to have more stock when I checked the other day.
