Your bag is gorgeous! I'm planning on getting a 30 as well. I'm trying to figure out if an iPad (9.4"x6.6") will fit in there while zipped. Any insights would be appreciated!

Dear Bolide experts,
I hope you can help me out with your vast knowledge. I am looking into aqcuiring either a Bolide 31 or a Bolide 1923 30 and want to make sure I really understand their differences. What I know already is:
- measurements slightly differ (Bolide 31: 31*24*12 and Bolide 1923: 30*23*13)
- zipper on Bolide 1923 is longer
- Bolide 31 has the oval patch and seam across while 1923 is plain
- handle drop on both models slightly differs (if anyone knows the actual handle drop (top of highest point of handle to bag zipper),
this would be highly appreciated)
What I am struggling with is to understand whether/how the silhoutte of the bags actually differ. I read that the 31 is supposedly more curvy vs. a slightly angular 1923, but to me, their frames look actually pretty similar. Is there a notable difference of the 31 being maybe more tapered? I would also love to know whether the strap length and width differ. Again, from the pictures, I would say width is probably the same as a Kelly28 strap and according to the hermes website the 1923 strap length is 98 cm, while they did not state it for 31.
Would love to hear of any other differences to help me make up my mind. So far, all of you have looked great in your modshots with either model. TIA

I have a bolide 27 for years and is what I carry the most, but ever since I noticed the difference between the two, I’m now all over the 1923 design. I hope I’ll get one soon.

Wow I didn’t realize there were different bolide styles. This is so helpful! So the 25 and 30 are the 1925 style and the 27 and 31 are both able to be carried over the shoulder? I’m assuming they both have shoulder straps? Are both types currently in production? 31 would make a great travel bag I think. Is there a price difference between the two styles? Thanks in advance.
not sure if this is helpful, but I just purchased a Bolide 1923 30. even though it's smaller than the Bolide 31 in width, I actually think it looks a little bigger than the Bolide 31 (at least the Mou version) because 1923's are very structured. sort of like how Kelly 28 sellier looks bigger than Kelly 28 retourne.
Looking at you photos remind me my bolide 31 etoupe clemence, she is truly the best travel partner.

My Bo31 are my most used Hermes bags lately as they are so under rated and care free to use
My first bolide has arrived and I love her. 31 clemence in Bleu Orage. I wanted a gray bag and this color is a wonderful mix of gray, blue, and green depending on light. Reminds me of my beloved vert amande in its chameleon like nature.
Oh no, I'm so sorry Bereal. Hopefully, you'll find a resolution to this issue. Thank you for sharing this update. My 25 is also in evercolor...now I know how to manage my expectations about this particular leather.
Your Bolides are both gorgeous! Clemence on Bolide is growing on me. Loving the texture and look of clemence!
