The shade comes out differently in different leathers. I have a SLG in Swift, where the Rouge H is dark with brown shade. Very differnt from the Rouge H on my Bolide.

Wow! I thought it was a vintage boxcalf! Another reason to love epsom (I have an epsom Bolide as well but I find it hard to love epsom as much as other leather). But like I said earlier, your Rouge H bolide is perfection. Wear her in good health!

I agree with you about the Epsom leather. It is not as loveable as other leathers. But when it comes to a strict bag as Bolide, I think the leather and the model match.
I am very fond of my Bolide in Rouge H and Epsom. I use it very often. And I like that it is under the radar. It just IS in its simple splendour.

Hello! I'm new here. I'm thinking of buying a second hand 1923 Bolide in epsom. I'm between Etain GHW, Etoupe GHW, and Bleu Orage GHW. It's a rather expensive investment for me, so I want to make sure I choose a color that is versatile. My wardrobe consists of a lot of neutrals (black, gray, navy, cream, tan, white). What color Bolide would be most useful?

I think etoupe and then etain would be the most versatile with your wardrobe. To me, bleu orage looks better in pictures than in irl.

An update about my travels with my Bolide 25 in evercolour. So I just discovered today as I was admiring my bag that the bottom is getting scuffed on the bottom and the sides. Quite shocking and disappointing to me as I use my bags carefully. The bag is just one and half years old and I’ve taken it on two trips. I don’t use it everyday only in special days on my holidays. Not sure what I should do ..I don’t like having bags which I have to baby.

I'm sorry to hear this @Bereal and thank you for sharing:heart:. Well now I know to not buy a bag in evercolour. I also heard this about Epsom? Someone wrote that in another thread. I only have 4 bags and they are togo and clemence leather. I would bring it into the store and see what they say.

Can someone please measure the top of a bolide 30? I went to the boutique today, but they didn’t have any in stock for me to look at. I want to know if an iPad 5th Gen (9.4” x 6.6”) can fit with the bag zipped up. Also planning on putting in a sunglass case, medium wallet, small pouch, and iPhone 14 Pro in there. Thanks in advance for your help!
