Jaune poussin bolide! With gold hardware.
I don’t generally like Epsom leather, I used to have à sellier Kelly in it and sold it, it never felt luxurious to me, seemed so thin and almost plastic like. Maybe it’s because of the colour or because the bolide is a bit more relaxed, I really loved this one. It also feels so soft, much softer than I remember that Kelly I had was. This is also a colour I wanted a bag in, and I don’t think this colour is done in any other leather aside from Epsom. At least I haven’t encountered it. I didn’t know if I wanted a bolide for some time, i was so indecisive, seemed a bit too “mature” for my style; I considered the 1923 bolide but I actually got to see one in store and was a little underwhelmed, it looked very plain. Then I saw it in this colour on an auction page and just fell for it! That was in palladium, I managed to find this one in gold hardware which I prefer. This is a size 27.
I wore it with a pair or black capris yesterday and got some colour transfer but it comes off pretty easily with wet wipes. Generally I try to avoid light coloured bags but I just love this colour so much.
Anyone have any twilly suggestions for this colour? I definitely need to protect those handles, I wear sunscreen every day and I live in a humid country 😅.
I have an orange Mille et un lapins twilly that looks ok I feel like it’s a bit too bright.
