Totally, yes. I wear with the H 105 straps and an assortment "other" straps. Works great crossbody (as does the Bolide 35 too but I like big bags).
Thanks so much. I have a cross body strap I could use. Does anyone have mod pics of the crossbody? I may have to go into the store to try it. I want a crossbody bag that closes for winter.
The trick is to find the right length for the strap.
Here are quick pics of my 31 using the original strap and with my repurposed Evelyn strap. Excuse the NYC door grime (pretty inescapable no matter how clean you keep the apartment). I’m 5’1 and 120lbs. HTH! It’s truly a great bag.
Needing some clarification about the Bolide as I'm getting confused: there is a regular Bolide and a 1923 Bolide style - which one is the one with the exterior round patch thing and exterior seam? and it seems like there are four sizes: mini, 25, 27, and 31. Do all four sizes come in both styles? thanks!!
The patch is on the “regular” style which has slightly longer handles. The 27 and 31 are regular sizes. The 1923 is the mini, 25, and 30 sizes.

Thats right. The 1923 also comes in a special edition 35 size. I believe the regular 35 is not currently in production.
hopefully there will be a slew of boutique bolides when it celebrates its 100th anniversary! LOVE bolide!!
Any major differences to consider between the regular and 1923 other than the patch and size options? Sounds like the handle size is something to keep in mind too? Trying to hone in on good option for day to night bag, need it in black. But for some reason I didn't love the noir Clemence one that I saw, seemed too casual, so thinking that a different leather might the bag look a little more special. Would love any ideas.

and then there're the Web (1923 shape) Bolides too with front pockets- I have the Travel size Web 45 (half lined in leather)
45s have no straps (double zip - I think - have to check)
Reg Bolide is slightly rounder/domed, the 1923 has slightly more 'shoulder'.
1923 is the original shape but actually looking the more modern for the moment.
