...but for those with patience (or, rather, obsessive perseverance :graucho:)...today a package came. I think this is one of the last ones left in this colorway (CW08). After some calls to my local SA and some great work on their part, I called the one Hermès store that seemed to have it and purchased it right away. I have still another being searched for but this was the one CW I really wanted. It really is more spectacular in life than in photos.

Sorry for the bad picture (I'm the worst photographer!!!) but I figured the ladies in this thread would truly understand the grin on my face at this moment :D

Congratulations!! I have been triemyself desperately to find one just like that since August. I even had Hermes do a worldwide search. I guess they did not look hard enough.... I will keep trying and I hope I get lucky. Let me know if you find another one! Cheers!

Thanks to Julian.T's post about never giving up to find the scarf you want, I called my SA about searching again for the La femme scarf in any colrr, at this point, and surprise, she had just received a black/gold one!

Here it is:

I want one as well...but now that I've got one, I'm a lot more calm about the second and it will come when it comes (who are we kidding here, I'm in hot pursuit!). The B/G CW is gorgeous and I'm sure it's more gorgeous in real life, the colours giving it depth.

OK, I know how to suck in the cheeks, but the neck is something I will have to work on ;) You are still not off the hook on the pink tutu. That was the one thing I wanted growing up. Only had a black one:crybaby:

(I've pretty much mastered the sucking in of the neck, now I'm working on the knees - much more difficult.)

^Beautiful scarf...less beautiful expression ;)

I was in H today and my SA was wearing it in CW1 (with the bright pink border)...it was the first time I have seen this CW IRL and I swoon...I grabbed it from him (yes, it was a him and it looked good - but he's flamboyant and can really carry it) and told him I'm stealing it! I didn't realize how absolutely amazing it was...now I must have.

I have a sneaking suspicion it will be difficult to get a hold of. But honestly, with as popular a design as it was, my hope is that they reissue it (I'm sure many of us would be thrilled).

Thanks for bumping this thread. Love this design and have it in many incarnations including the Cash/Silk Shawl, the 90 cm and the thin bangle and even the ceramic tray.
Love to see anyone new modeling shots?
And how fun seeing your male SA with his carre on. Would have loved to see pics!
