What to do? What to do? Please some advice as I am going nuts! I really wanted a silk scarf La femme aux semelles de vent in the black, white 08 cw, but to date, I still havent found it.
Yesterday, I saw the orange one at the Hermes boutique in my city but didnt take it. Today, my friend from Luxembourg calls to tell me her Hermes boutique has the GM cashmere/silk scarf with the red border and I said no to that one too. Should I get either of them to have at least one in this design or shall I wait to find the black and white I really want (hoping to find it one day somewhere around the world....)?

You might try Neiman Marcus-sometimes they order older scarf designs from H and that is where I found my b/w La Femme. They are getting harder to find, but once in a while a reseller or Ebay might pop up. Good luck!

So, I called Hermes Paris, Rome, Luxembourg, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and had Hermes do a worldwide search for the b/w La femme scarf. Nop!! no where to be found. Now, I would buy any color!! If any of you ever see it, please let me know! (May be someone will rerun a X-mas gift...):nuts:

ladyblakeney-The La Femme b/w shawls are harder to come by, but they do appear on the Bay or with a reseller now and then. Patience and somehow it will find its way to you. I think there is a reason you passed on the others since they were perhaps not suitable for you. But the colors are still in some of the stores. Nurse has scored one and it looks fabulous on her.

periogirl-the rose GM is a beautiful and subtle colorway-it looks so elegant on! My SA was wearing it last week and it really suited her so well-she is pale complexion and wore it with a lovely cream colored suit.

Today in an homage to Rare Collector Scarves, I posted my LaFemme GM shawl. It holds a very special place in my heart as my very first GM. I will not buy another brown shawl out of loyalty to this one LOL! Well, I am thinking about one, but it has a very different brown. That's o.k. isn't it? Hope the Femmies are enjoying this holiday season and I will put together a collage just for our thread -so feel free to post an image for the holidays! :love::hugs:

Thank you, one of our dearest scarf Queens. Not as fab as you in your GM. It is truly a divine scarf that looks incredible on you. I understand why you won't buy another. :p

And you are right. I got one from the store just mid October, Periogirl28.
It is possible. Just look around or ask your SA.

Hi ladies, I tried to find this information from the thread, but I want to ask this just to be sure - is this scarf still produced, or are there just some pieces left in random stores? I shoudn't have come across this thread, I totally fell in love with this design, and my heart will break if I can't find one :crybaby: I love the fuchsia, the black/brown/turquoise and the red one too.. Either cashmere GM or 90 silk scarf would be fine, I just have to get one :love:
