thank you! I can't wait to see the shawl in the desert sun. I'm in Ireland now, which has been less rainy than I expected (hooray) but still doesn't have that southwest US brilliance to the sunshine.

That's beautiful. Thank you for finding and posting that image with the La Femme "orange' shawl. Maybe that's why I was so drawn to the colors--they're the colors of home. And happily coincide with fall/Thanksgiving colors too!

I wore the shawl yesterday and again today. I LOVE IT. Thanks to all for your encouragement! I can't believe I waited to think about it!

and they don't show up well in my photos, but have you all noticed the butterflies mixed in along one part of the scarf/shawl? Or maybe they're moths, but I prefer to think of them as butterflies.

lanit, that is an incredible photo! It made me want to dive straight through my screen and into the desert. But instead, la Vie en Rose, I ran to my scarf drawer and inspected the butterflies on my La Femme.

Earlier today, I took the worst photograph in the history of tPF of my beautiful (new) favorite GM and my beautiful (new) favorite bag:

Jige in gold courchevel and La Femme insisted on paying a visit to this thread to visit all her La Femme cousins. Jige says that going out with La Femme and the tiger pattern makes her feel sexy :nuts:
