Now that you've posted additional photos, I'm thinking barenia too. Maybe it was the light in the first ones, but in those the skin looked glossier. Regardless, it's a special bag!

Evergrain has a visible tiny grain bc it's stamped IIRC.

I would have suggested that Jadeite's Plume was Evercalf if it had been dated later..

seton, Jadeite, i am not convinced evergrain is stamped, if it is, then evercolour is stamped too. i shall ask the leather guy in FSH next time i am there! they feel and look exactly the same; and feel and look way better than Epsom/Courchevel/Veau Grain Lisse (to me anyway!) ...if H can produce stamped leather like evergrain/evercolour, i wish they do more bags in these than cardboard Epsom!

Hooray to the winner (yours truly) as I celebrate myself silly this Valentine's Day for having the incredible luck of meeting this handsome teenager and the commencement of our torrid love affair. This is like finding out your already very handsome guy has magnificent 6-pack abs. :graucho:

Uhh.. The plume is a dude. With manly scars. It's V-day, but even not still No go for licking a female (or a female dude..considering there is still 1% chance it isn't Barenia. Lol)

Jadeite, I have entered the Barenia Mystery late and scrutinized every word. I must chime in with a 1% chance that I am wasting your time, but you said the bag was light and barenia is not light to me. The thickness of the skin is a good indicator of leather. If you compare the thickness to all your other skins that kinda look like barenia, it should be the thickest and run a tie with chamonix. Also, I have a fauve tadelakt and the skin is VERY similar to barenia but thin. Don't shoot me--- I would have said Barenia positively except for the "light" comment but weight is relative and I bet you are one strong Dude carrying mamma!!

I came to show all you barenia lovers my new to me BARENIA GM Evylyne!! This is my second Evy and I love her so much. I have become a Fendi Monster Charm Nutcase and had to show you with Monster attached.

Normally I would 100% agree but Plumes are for some reason different. My VN P32 actually feels light as air, almost as light as box! Since Barenia is lighter than VN I would say the light weight definitely does not exclude Barenia as a contender in this situation.
