I came to show all you barenia lovers my new to me BARENIA GM Evylyne!! This is my second Evy and I love her so much. I have become a Fendi Monster Charm Nutcase and had to show you with Monster attached.

A GM! How lucky you are. How did you find this bag?
I have to admit the monster fendi is distracting me ... I love seeing naked Barenia.

Jadeite, I have entered the Barenia Mystery late and scrutinized every word. I must chime in with a 1% chance that I am wasting your time, but you said the bag was light and barenia is not light to me. The thickness of the skin is a good indicator of leather. If you compare the thickness to all your other skins that kinda look like barenia, it should be the thickest and run a tie with chamonix. Also, I have a fauve tadelakt and the skin is VERY similar to barenia but thin. Don't shoot me--- I would have said Barenia positively except for the "light" comment but weight is relative and I bet you are one strong Dude carrying mamma!!

Hi my friend ! I don't mind the discussions at all, the thread hasn't had this much fun in awhile. You don't find Barenia light? I think it's not that heavy compared to Togo, clemence, negonda. Gulliver I am certain is heavier than Barenia (which was what I compared the bag to in this discussion). It will be nice to compare weights across similar bags of same dimensions to be sure though.

Once done licking my plume I reunited it with the (really) Barenia Sherpa.

Sparklelisab, the Sherpa is unlined and it is (and feels) quite thick though harder to compare the plume with a chèvre inner.

I find my Barenia Birkin heavier than my Clemence and Swift Birkins.....

Based on my experience, I would say Barenia!

Never seen a Barenia Evy before, gorgeous [emoji173]️ Understand your Fendi Monster Charm obsession, I just bought my first ( Grimmy ) and it's so much fun.

This is a perfect pairing!

Jadeite, I was "sleep shopping." I do this in the middle of the night when I can't sleep; then I wake up in the morning and pretend it didn't happen....Husband shakes his head. This GM barenia listed on ebay and I just scooped her up!

I LOVE my barenia Birkin but she is heavier than Togo. I will weigh them. Haha...I have never held Gulliver so I do not know about that. I LOVE your Sherpa and the description of thick leather makes me salivate. With all the fabulous features of Barenia and Vache Natural, the thick leather gets me every time.

Does anyone know how chamonix compares? This is my next buy me thinks.

I think the tab of my silk'in wallet is made from Barenia ?
The wallet is cognac epsom but the tab is a different leather. Very silky to touch ....

I really do find Barenia to be quite light in comparison, well the Sherpa is carried on both shoulders backpack style to be fair I guess it makes it feel light. My b30 Barenia is also quite light compared to a clemence and gulliver one.

These two are gorgeous, Jadeite. Simply gorgeous! These much be such a pleasure to use.

I too find Barenia light—at least in my Trims, Picos, and even Bolide. Of course, all except the Bolide are not lined, and that makes a big difference in weight.

Love the Plume in any leather, and in Barenia it's simply fantastic.
