Thanks ForeverInPink, my bag is a cabana lined in chèvre. But thinking it over I am keeping mine a VN.:D Which is rather firm and rigide. Swift/gulliver should be more slouchy which would be more difficult to recognise in a plume because of the more structured design. Such a fun discussion. Cheers!

@sparklelisab dear, just stumble back on this thread.......
it's pity i didn't use her often enough, because i do find it a bit heavy, even though no lining no nothing but the middle swinging pocket makes it quite heavy......
the shoulder strap is a bit short for me so i don't wanna stain it with my sweat.......UKWIM~~
hahahah anyway i keep it sleeping in the box and occasional open the open and sniff sniff~~~

I've just bought a Canvas and Barenia Garden Party and couldn't be more thrilled.It's going to be great for the warmer [ drier!] weather.
I'll post photos in a day or two.

I'm hoping you experts may give me some tips for keeping the handles from darkening.
I definitely won't be using the twilly option, and won't be wearing gloves in Summer!
I shall be careful not to use hand creams before carrying the bag .
I'm guessing some discolouration will be inevitable , but seeing how good all your handles appear, could you share some tips?

You can check out Docride's Vintage care thread, but she recommends using Lexol PH wipes as a good safe way to clean handles.

Has anyone done the glycerine treatment on their Barenia B or K? I found out about it on Veryverve's IG.
