Actually, I remember years ago (when I first started going to the H sample sale) they had enamels. To this day, I still kick myself for not getting some. I never wear costume jewelry so I figured I would never wear them, but now I realize....I can make an exception for H.:graucho:

Here is my brand new vibrato plume 28. Since this is my first foray into high end H bags (I own 2 leather garden party pms from previous sample sales) any information you can provide, starting with the name of the lovely shade of purple would be a huge help. The tag says cyclamen. Is that a type of leather or a color? I'm usually a scarf buyer so this is a whole new level for me.

As you can see, my cat is a huge fan. He's into luxury brands.

These are a couple of the scarves I picked up. My collection is over 100 scarves, thanks to nearly 10 years of H sample sales.

congrats restricter~~ Beautiful finds~~ Would it be too rude of me to ask how much the plume was? (please ignore my question if you don't feel comfortable answering, it's perfectly fine~~:p) It's such a beautiful bag~ Cyclamen is the color of the purple-ish leather, not the type of leather. It's a favorite color of mine. I've got an Evelyne in Cyclamen color~~ I want to say the leather looks like box leather because it seems very smooth and shinny.....I'm sure other H experts will be able to correctly ID the leather!!

Aw, thanks Boo. The original price of the plume was $6850 and the sample sale price was $2055. They had other plumes in various leathers and colors in prices ranging from $2000-$3000 (the $3000 ones came with locks).

I'm thinking I should do a thread similar to Vernilover's with all my H scarves. My cat should be up to that, I think...

oh wow restricted, I was so coveting that cyclamen plume but had already committed to another, one of those evelynes. You did so well!

HMonkey I am so jealous of your gorgeous Trim, I bet you got a great deal!!

I wasn't planning to go to the sale this year, I've been super busy and trying to be careful with money on top of that. Then, I saw the pics on Racked.com and spotted one of my grail scarves, the gold/white/black Passage a New York. I mentioned to SO that I was disappointed I wouldn't get to go to the sale since Weds, Thurs, and Fri are busy and I figured by Sat it would be gone. He completely shocked me by offering to go get it!!! I set him up with pictures and directions and he brought it home tonight. He's such a sweetie! :heart:
