I wasn't planning to go to the sale this year, I've been super busy and trying to be careful with money on top of that. Then, I saw the pics on Racked.com and spotted one of my grail scarves, the gold/white/black Passage a New York. I mentioned to SO that I was disappointed I wouldn't get to go to the sale since Weds, Thurs, and Fri are busy and I figured by Sat it would be gone. He completely shocked me by offering to go get it!!! I set him up with pictures and directions and he brought it home tonight. He's such a sweetie! :heart:

Hermes Nutty Nut, I was virtuous (out of necessity) and skipped the sale, but Perianimal was sweet enough to give me a run down and it sounds great. . . Hermes Monkey, restrictor, everyone, your great deals are so beautiful. Olive, were you getting another evelyne? Cinderlala, maybe we can go to the next one!!!

I was there yesterday. They did have some diff ties out, but same scarves, no additional shoes or gloves or bags. I'd say, if you so happen to be in the area, sure, drop in. If not, maybe not. I wonder if they are going to have additional mark downs? Probably not!! LOL

I went back today. Just call me greedy. No new bags, even fewer belts but they put out cotton scarves, the small silk scarves and a handful of twilly pointus in bolduc print. Don't bother going to look for that handful.

They also had a few vintage carre in Swinging Saint Germain. Yes, I got one of those, too. Pics later when I get home. I'd love to do it now but my bosses really don't need to see what I do with my money.

I was greedy too and went back today. (Hi 880 and Mr. 880!) They put out new 70 cm scarves, pocket squares, and even mouselline stoles!!! It was such a pleasant shopping experience; no lines, no crazy crowds at all. Now I know for future reference to check back at a later date to score more goodies!

DH went with me! (he hates sample sale shopping and loves high end small boutiques and custom clothes). He immediately found a pair of brown loafers in his size 10, chain de acre (?) detail (it looks like a scarf ring lol) reduced from 895 to 357 or thereabouts. (the size was mis-marked as an 8.5). There were also some vintage size somber checked cashmeres that I think would be great on a guy; some pockets squares, belts, shoes, linen shirts (boxy club cut) and pants. . .

We ran into Kelly 32 and Olive519 and some other tpfers. After she saw me drooling over her basket of scarves, Olive so sweetly and generously let me buy a scarf she was originally going to get for herself: vintage jeu des omnibus 1937 2007 in aubergine/eau de rose/framboise (originally 295 for 177). Thank you Olive!!! :yahoo:

Not right for me, but maybe for someone else: some GM mousselines including faubourg by night, purple center, dark green surrounding for 414; a pink bolduc en carre olbong scarf with quilted bolduc fringe for maybe 379. . . alot of the scarves were from 2007. Salesperson remarked there were two jungle loves in silk that were gone by the time I got there.

Also There were a lot of bags left; I noticed a cute vibrato picotin pm marked to 1000 and a lot of suede vespas that olive mentioned earlier for 850. . . Some desk agendas and small leather goods and wallets. . .

There was plenty of stuff and the tpfers and the sales people told me that there has been new stuff coming in every day.

Hi Kelly32 - great to see you again! Elle Tee, now that SO has been once -- try this weekend -- I thought there was a lot of stuff still :)
