880, sounds like they had great things and put them out slowly so last day shoppers would have something too. Much better things, on the whole, than the BH sale, but I expected that.

LOL, grace kelly, I remember drooling over stuff people said about BH and also what Riley Girl posted about Hawaii!! I would be so thrilled to go to BH with you and doloresmia!!!

The BH sale was on the top floor of the boutique and so it was a much smaller space than the NYC sale, which was off site. Also, NYC will always get more than any other place in any brand, just by virtue of the fact that it is NEW YAWK!

Also more shoppers in NYC than in LA and other boutiques in closer proximity. NYC also pulls in more international shoppers.

GK or anyone on this thread, I just got interested in GM shawls this year (I'm a late bloomer). I was captivated by Little H getting her grail cheval mon sur carre GM in Paris. . . Is the mothership sale the same as these sample sales? And, do the sample sales ever get or have they ever gotten GM's? Do you guys think they will in the future - would love to know people's opinions on this. And also I hope people who went today might consider please posting their great finds :)

OMG, you got something in Cyclamen...my very fave H color! I love your vibralto Plume. So many lovely bags this time...sounds like more and better bags than ever. Congrats, yours is just gorgeous!!

I will chime in here, though I must admit that I've never been to a sale! I have friends who go in NYC and in Paris and sometimes I get lucky and they find something on my list. From what I've heard over the past 3 or so years, it sounds like the best selection of cashmere GMs is at Paris in the January sale. I didn't hear about anybody finding one at the NY sale in cashmere. However, they apparently put out a whole bunch of mousseline GMs on the public days of the sale. I heard there were none out on the private sale day. Don't quite get it, but I've seen some photos and heard descriptions of some lovely ones. It sounds like they are putting out more and more in terms of both volume but also types of merchandise over the years.

I'm really hoping to get to an H sale myself...I'd love to hit Paris for the January sale and then NYC either this time of year or in Sept...
