Nordstrom Return Policy Thread!!

Nordstrom is founded on this very lenient return policy. Do not be embarrassed to return something you paid lots of money for and don't use! I will not buy their stock due to this policy, but will always shop there ;-)

Thanks! I knew they had a lenient return policy, but I wasn't sure if it applied to beauty products. I will definitely return it then!

*BUMP!*

My aunt gave me a Michael Kors watch for my birthday about a month ago as a surprise but she only sent me the box, no receipt, barcode, etc. She did tell me that she bought form Nordstrom. I don't want to hurt her feelings by asking for the receipt (she knew I wanted one but I had already purchased one for myself before I received hers) do you think if I give Nordstrom her name they can look it up so I can get store credit for it? I'm almost positive she used a CC and not cash so her name should be in the system right?

YOu can try giving her name, but if she's not in the Nordstrom Client Book, they may not be able to look it up.

I don't think you'd hurt her feelings, especially since you already purchased one. She'd probably understand.

My Aunt bought me a Michael Kors purse that she said she got from Nordstrom that I wanted to return. They looked her up but it wasn't under her name but she returned it anyway and gave me cash that I used towards an LV!!!

Oh wow! That's awesome, I'm glad it worked out for you! I'm hoping if I can return this to use it towards a David Yurman bracelet but we shall see!

with no tags attached, they allow it to be returned after all this time?

ick. you better believe people are wearing/returning and you nordies shoppers are buying that stuff.....

Personally, IMO, if the tags are removed, the item is used. Why would you take a tag off of something you have never worn? Makes no sense.

Ok, why do people keep saying the tags were attached? OP clearly stated that she did NOT have the original tags and no tags were attached. However, she had the receipt.

I don't care one way or another, but just wanted to clarify the whole tag issue.

Why WERE the tags removed, OP?

Got a question about Nordies beauty return policy - I ordered some perfume about 7 or 8 months ago, used it about twice, and would like to return it. Unfortunately, the nearest Nordies is 2 hours away and I just haven't gotten around to driving down there, but will be in a few weeks.

Can I still return it? I still have the receipt, but I'm a little bit embarrassed to even try.

Yes, you can return it as long as you have the receipt.

Norstrom usually puts that sticker(receipt) on the box. Its just a little barcode sticker.

I bought some designer jeans from Nordstrom, washed them once, wore them a couple times, noticed that there was a tiny rip, am I able to return them even if I don't have the tags anymore? I have the receipt, but no tags. They're not even 2 weeks old! Please advise. Thanks :)

what brand of jeans were they? sounds like bad quality :(

True Religion, the quality isn't bad. I didn't inspect them throughly (never do with jeans). But I own many TR's and they're the best ever. It's just a little snag/rip. Nothing to big, and not noticeable from a far distance, but if you were behind me, you'll see it, since the wash is really dark. lol. But for the money, I would rather have a pair with no snags :smile1:

hi girls, i need some advice. I got a gift from nordstrom , the valentino lace dorsay pumps. I don't have the receipt for them. There is a sticker on the box 1 is a nordstrom one with the barcode and name of the shoe .. the other is a valentino sticker and a third is like a long rectangular one with just a bunch of numbers and a bar code.

the nordstrom one seems to be a bit wet/sticky .. i was wondering if they would be able to give me store credit anyway

please help

they can retrieve the return with the Nordstrom Barcode, but may only give you credit. Also, they may scan the 3rd sticker.

The box doesn't have the normal sticker that is placed on products at checkout?

Also, was it an online order? I ask because sometimes they don't place stickers on online orders.
