Wow 14 year return policy? I was thinking Macy's 180-day policy was generous.

this has changed. there is no time limit and no restrictions regarding returns with macy's now.

I am returning a bag to Nordstrom today, it's from 2/2010 and still has the tags attached. I never had the occasion to wear it, I'll see what happens it was about $250 with tax. Still have my receipt since it was online. It's brand-new just a one-year old style bag. Never thought to return it, figured the deadline had passed.

hello girls, i hope im posting this in the right place.
i have a blue duck real fur coat i got from nordstrom a really long time ago.
it has been hanging in my closet unworn with tags still on. i dont have the receipt and the nordstrom sticker isnt on it either.

would i be able to return this item? it was originally $700+ and now its on sale for $400. would i be able to receive my original price if they dont find me in the system?

No. Without a receipt/not being found in their database would mean you will receive current price.

how did you pay? If you paid by credit card they can look up the purchase. Also, if the SA saved your purchase in the address book, it can be looked up that way.

^ I agree. If you're in their system, no receipt needed for the return. Your SA can look up your original transaction & you don't have to give them your original card either. Nordstrom really has the best no-hassle return policy.

They should be able to find it under your credit card. Do you have the cc statement?

Strange that the tags are attached but no Nordstrom barcode...usually they stick that on the tags.

Did you buy it on a Nordstrom credit card? It's usually much easier for retailers to track/find past purchases made on their store cards.

It is. I work there, and a UII sticker must be scanned for each item, or you can't move on to complete the transaction.

Didn't this just start within the last couple of years? I know this sticker thing hasn't been around forever. Maybe she bought it yearsss ago? HAHa
