Question - I want to purchase a item, I tried price matching online no success! 
What is the process of price matching in-stores if the item is only available online? (Not in-stock at this particular store) Do SA's order it for you from the store with the lower price?

I am slightly annoyed, but I had an item price matched with no problem. Yesterday, I received the item, but i need to size up. I tried using live chat, but the person would not reorder them for me in the next size up. Ugh! I guess I will just have to return the item.

The SA should be able look up the item number and find out if the item is available at another Nordstrom. If so, the SA can order it for you, price match, and have it shipped to you.
Live Chat never seems to be very helpful for me. I would call/go to your local Nordstrom and have them order you the new size and price match. That should be no problem for them to do. I rarely have issues with price matching when I go in-store or call. I can't say the same for Live Chat price matching!

Thanks! I was thinking I should try the store and see if they're more helpful before returning. Funny thing is that when I saw the person's name on the live chat, i remember him not being helpful before.

The wierd thing was I bought with a gift card + credit card. Most of the purchase was gift card. But they say they credit the credit card for the entire price match, which is more than I put on that card for the original purchase. Good for me, because the gift card is $0 now anyway and I tossed it.
I looked an no price match showed up on my credit card yet. How long does it take?

Nordstrom honored the 20% off for me on a Michele watch. The SA did say that Bloomingdales had to have the exact same watch in stock. I see another poster said no so maybe it depends on the SA? I had no trouble with Live Chat though.
Yes they do. I price match the bloomingdale's sales every year. I just got a pair of Steve Madden boots for $100. Nordstrom had the boots discounted for 15% off and then I got another 20% off of that price.

I've had a great success with price match lately. Especially around Black Friday. Nordstrom matched everything I wanted from trish mcevoy cosmetics to frends headphones. I usually order through live chat. Yesterday they matched a air of shoes for me that we're on sale at piperlime. That was in store.

I bought a chanel bag from nordstrom seattle last week but would like to return for a refund. However i will be in san francisco. So i was wondering if i could bring the chanel bag down to nordstrom at san francisco centre at market street for a refund. What if nordstrom at san francisco centre do not carry chanel, will they still take the return?
Is the refund going to take longer as usual cos i heard they will have to send the bag back to seattle??
