I have a logistical question for Ambassadors/Icons who can shop early in store. I used to be Icon, now Ambassador, and I live about 2 hours from a store. I'd like to go in-person on July 12, mostly so I can take advantage of the free alterations, and but also maybe to find surprises I may have missed in the preview. I'm just trying to think of the best way to do this.

I can attend the early "private" shopping event from 8-10am, but am wondering if it's necessary if only Ambassadors can shop that day anyway. Could my time be better spent placing an order at 12:01am, choosing in-store pick-up for eligible items (and ordering anything else online) and getting to the store mid-morning to look at the rest? Trying to avoid a 6-hour sleep window when I'm not sure I have any "must-haves" anyway! What's my best strategy?

I send my wish list to my SA before access day and she pulls what they have in stock for me to look at on Wednesday (I was also demoted to Ambassador this year). Before the store opens on access day (9:00pm Pacific time on Tuesday) , I order on-line what is not available in-store with expediated shipping to Nordstrom Local. I'm not sure there is a private event for Ambassador tier - only Icon tier on Tuesday but I will ask!

Also, alterations are not free for Ambassadors like they are for icons. You have to pay for them and then you get Nordstrom notes as reimbursement.

I still go in ahead of store opening, only because I love the freebies and food they have for us prior to store opening. It always feels like such a party. And this year will be special, I have my 17 year old daughter who loves her Mother again after the roughest two years of our lives as a family. :heart:

I love this and always loved going to the sale with my daughter - but she lives in London now so its solo shopping this year :sad:

I’m late to this party, but how is the sizing for the Zella live in joggers? Do they feel very polyester-y? I disliked the Quince Flowknit joggers which are supposedly a Vuori dupe. I’m looking for a pair of travel pants to wear this fall when we fly to Europe. All of my Jcrew dreamy joggers are developing holes in them (they’re a cotton/spandex blend and super comfy but Jcrew no longer makes them):

Well, I definitely think you should try a pair. If you live near a store they have ones that are not on sale to try on. I for one love them, they are true to size and I have them in many colors.

I have had Madewell Transport totes but not with a wide crossbody strap. I found the straps too thin for carrying anything heavy on my shoulder. If I was just walking between a car and the office it might not be so bad..

Yes - I've been many times & Selfridges and John Lewis are their Nordstrom-type department stores product-wise but their customer service is non-existent (probably because they don't earn commission).
