Personally I'm happy for everyone having their orders being honored by Nordstrom. It was their fault after all. If I could have made up my mind about what I wanted I might have placed an order myself. I'm still all over the map about what I want/need this year. I'm also super happy that we will have reviews before the sale officially starts. I always find that to be very helpful.

I have a logistical question for Ambassadors/Icons who can shop early in store. I used to be Icon, now Ambassador, and I live about 2 hours from a store. I'd like to go in-person on July 12, mostly so I can take advantage of the free alterations, and but also maybe to find surprises I may have missed in the preview. I'm just trying to think of the best way to do this.

I can attend the early "private" shopping event from 8-10am, but am wondering if it's necessary if only Ambassadors can shop that day anyway. Could my time be better spent placing an order at 12:01am, choosing in-store pick-up for eligible items (and ordering anything else online) and getting to the store mid-morning to look at the rest? Trying to avoid a 6-hour sleep window when I'm not sure I have any "must-haves" anyway! What's my best strategy?

I didn’t use my Nordstrom card and my order shipped. It also let me use my Nordstrom notes which confused me but I was running out the door and didn’t think much of it. I got the Beis travel bags and the Longchamp crossbody. Hopefully they come!

I have done this in the past, and it isn’t a bad strategy, but be aware that your orders might not be ready for in-store pickup right away.

My experience has been that my store will NOT have a lot of what’s featured online. I will always order online at 9pm (I live on the West Coast) and head into store in the morning. I still go in ahead of store opening, only because I love the freebies and food they have for us prior to store opening. It always feels like such a party. And this year will be special, I have my 17 year old daughter who loves her Mother again after the roughest two years of our lives as a family. :heart:

I’m guessing more stuff will show up once the sale goes live for Icons. I find it hard to believe the LC expandable will only come in two colors.
