Just want to update on the recent Mautto strap I ordered. Looks like another perfect match for my vintage K. Color ordered was Forest Green.

Again, I am so happy to have read your posts and seen your pics of your Bolide and Kelly, they turned out to be very beautiful matches!

Glad to help! I just got this bag back from Paris recently after a very long 7 months wait - it needed quite an overhaul! One of the things they quoted me was for a replacement Hermes shoulder strap and I had no hesitation in saying "no thanks" particularly when the quoted price was around CAD 775.
Yikes, ahhgoo! The price for H straps is indeed astronomical. I just sent a message to Mautto this evening regarding a strap for my Bolide.

Hello ahhgoo! I am looking for a canvas strap for my K32 but I certainly don't want to pay over $700. for the one made by H; that is insane! The one you ordered from Chapman's is gorgeous and it looks pretty similar to the Bandouliere Supplement, which is the one that H makes. May I ask how long it took you to receive your canvas strap from Chapman's after you ordered it? TIA!
I ordered it last year but it didn't take too long. I think it might take them between 1-2 weeks to make and shipping from UK to Canada was pretty fast. So maybe about 3 weeks at the most. Contact them via [email protected] if you want custom colors/width but they also have regular 2" canvas straps listed for sale as well. Link here:

I purchased this potiron Bolide without a strap. It was rather hard to find webbing that was the right color. I was on a trip and walked into a fabric store and found what I needed to my extreme surprise! They had the hardware as well. I took it all to my local shoemaker and he copied my Evelyne strap and here is the result. I am very pleased with it

ahgoo - do they have other colors available? I'd love a canvas strap for my Rouge H Kelly but the red strap I see on their website is very bright. I'm wondering if they have additional colors either for the strap or for the leather pieces that attach to the end. Thank you!!
