Non-H Shoulder Strap Success

Hi...I have a mautto 0.75 inches leather strap that I use on my K35. Mine is 43 inches long (incl. hw) and I am 5 feet 3 inches. I think 40 should work for you.

jyyanks, I checked out the Chapman strap colors and I do like their red better. I also like that it has leather ends. So yours is 40" in total? I'm 5' 1" so I think I'll order the same length.

Here is my eBay strap from ministraps adjusted to 40 on my 5'0 frame. This is how it looks cross body. I don't normally wear my bags cross body so I keep it at 30 so I can wear on my shoulder. Hope this helps.

Do you like where it hit your hip at this length? We're about the same height. I don't have any crossbody bag but thought it'll be a good way to carry my K when I travel or need to free up my hands without worrying about a dangling purse.

Hmmm...I'm not a crossbody gal so it's hard to say. It feels a tad bit low so I would probably raise it up by an a couple of inches (around 2 inches). Keep in mind that the bag is a 35 so it feels huge when I wear it this way. The good news is that the Chapman strap is also adjustable so you can play with the length to make sure the bag falls where it's comfortable on you. The canvas strap I ordered was 90-118 cm so I had room to play. You may want to order a wide berth and not limit to 40 so you can adjust accordingly.

Mine's a 35 too and I don't plan to wear it crossbody day to day. I find when I tried putting a strap on that way, it dug into the side of my neck. I'm just not used to it. I may order 42 so I can make it shorter or longer. Thanks for the info and pics!

Received my Chapmans Strap. I customized it for my a Graphite Clemence K32. Love the options of having it really short but adjustable to long cross-shoulder. I chose contrasting red canvas with Havane Leather tips to spice things up a little.
I think the quality is worthy enough to go with Hermes

I have the original Hermes graphite leather strap that comes with the Kelly and a black non-adjustable canvas strap from Hermes as well; I hardly use them because I find the straps long. Hence, I customized the Chapman's adjustable from 70-110cm with the same width from H canvas.

Thanks! I'm picky about the strap since I already have 2 from H which I hardly used. This shorter adjustable strap reminds me of the new Kelly Amazone Strap, I feel the shorter drop makes the bag less heavy.

Yes, its the 2" width which is the same width with the H canvas strap. The wider and shorter strap makes the kelly lighter and more comfortable on my shouder.

Has anyone here tried their canvas strap! I am thinking of ordering a purple one to go with my green Kelly. I just wonder about the quality of the hardware and if it could clash with the Kelly..

Kewave's i believe is canvas, justa. Couple posts above yours, and it looks great.

Hello, I would like to let you guys know I recently bought a mautto strap as a replacement strap for my rouge box kelly...

The closest colour to hermes rouge is SMOOTH BURGUNDY.
This color is not listed in the website but is hidden under the sale item section.
So make you ask for smooth burgundy! I am extremely happy with the strap
