I just ordered a canvas strap on eBay (ministraps) for my Kelly for $15. I had contacted Chapman but did not hear back so went ahead and ordered the eBay one because it was so cheap.
I'm happy with the strap and would recommend the seller. The only thing is that it took a long time to arrive --3 weeks but I knew that because it was mentioned in the listing. It came from Thailand and although tracking was included, I was never able to track and then it showed up in my mailbox. Seller included a little gift too.
Here it is on my Kelly and then compared to my Evy strap. Note that the stitching is a bit sloppy but for $15, I am more than happy. Also note that the gold is not shiny golf but matte which I like.
Please excuse my feet in the pic, I told DH not to not include my feet in the pic since I took my shoes off and didn't feel like putting them back on but he ignored me.

I also ordered a leather strap from Mautto for $30. I wanted a short strap since I'm petite so the 30 inch was perfect. Here is a pic with the Mautto strap on my Kelly. I also included a pic of the Mautto next to my canvas strap from eBay.
The eBay strap is adjustable so in my previous post, I'm wearing my Kelly cross body but it can also be worn on my shoulder and adjusted accordingly. Note that both straps cost me $45 total.

I think both of them are great and it serves the purpose without costing an arm and a leg. I say, Well Done You!
And oh, you have pretty feet, shouldn't worry showing them to us at all.
They both look good, jyyanks! Sure beats $800+ and 2 years wait. Funny how Mautto was supposed to send me samples and I never received them. I've been waiting for the second set of samples for 2 weeks now and it still hasn't arrived. Strange! May be I should just order a red canvas strap and see how it turns out. Can't be that bad and at that price what have I got to lose.
PS Cute feet--looks ready for those riding boots.
Hi Ahhgoo! I'm afraid the color choices are limited to black, dark brown and a cream/light brown. The Chapman straps have a better color/ hardware selection. If my bag was any other color except for black, I would have gone with the Chapman. In fact, I may still order one from them to compare but the cheap ebay one works for now.

I think you should try the Chapman canvas straps for your red bag - they will customize, have a better color selection, and have leather on the ends. I don't think the ebay store I used had red in stock or I would recommend them. If you want leather, I think Mautto is the way to go but for canvas, I would try the customized Chapman.
Then again, it's so much cheaper than an H strap that you can buy from multiple places until you find the perfect one!
Looks great! I recently ordered a strap for my Kelly from Mautto but I ordered a 1/2" leather strap. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me your height? As I'm also petite and ordered the 40" in hopes that it would be perfect crossbody length. Thanks!

I saw your beautiful Kelly - congrats again! I'm 5'0 exactly. I probably should have ordered the half inch but ordered .75 since the Kelly is a size 35.
If you're almost the same height, I can my make adjustable canvas strap into a 40 and see if it fits cross body. I think it will work, especially because I think your bag is a 32 which is smaller than mine and won't be as bulky.

Hi...I have a mautto 0.75 inches leather strap that I use on my K35. Mine is 43 inches long (incl. hw) and I am 5 feet 3 inches. I think 40 should work for you.

jyyanks, I checked out the Chapman strap colors and I do like their red better. I also like that it has leather ends. So yours is 40" in total? I'm 5' 1" so I think I'll order the same length.
