Unfortunately my quest for a custom strap through etsy has turned up empty. ahhgoo, I contacted Tracy @tracy1984 and she only sells items shown on the site. I also contacted olivetreetextiles and sewingworld to no avail--they don't do custom straps. Now I just have to wait for the swatches from Mautto to see how that will turn out. Stay tuned!

BTW, I'm somewhat tempted to get an evie or jypsiere just to get the strap.

Drats! I was hoping that the etsy vendors would do custom orders. Let us know how it goes with mautto's canvas strap. I'll keep searching as well.

Lol! Getting an evie or jypsiere to get the strap is a fairly expensive option :p

Update: I have successfully ordered a bespoke (custom) canvas strap from Chapman bags in the U.K. (Chapmanbags.com). Very happy with the adjustable length and the smell of wonderful leather. I chose the width of the canvas, color of both canvas and leather ends along with the color of the hardware. Pix as attached.

You're welcome and good luck with ordering. Email their bespoke services for more ordering detailed information. Should take about 2 weeks to make and 1 week for delivery time.

Edit on webbing width in comparison to Hermes canvas strap to consider when ordering: It's possible that the Hermes canvas straps are normally wider. I don't have an Evelyn to compare but attaching comparison with my Toolbox and Goodnews bag straps. Looks to be around 1.5 to 2" for Hermes. Maybe someone with an Evelyn strap can clarify further.

I like a thinner strap personally.

ahhgoo, the strap looks awesome! Did you choose the green to match a particular H color--how does it match with your bag? I'll check out their site. I want to order a canvas strap for my rouge casaque K but worry that the red may not match or I may just order a different contrasting or complementary color so don't have to worry about matching. What was the total length of yours and how much was the strap may I ask?

BTW, love the color of your beautiful TB. Is it BE?

Thank you Fabfashion. Yes, I chose the green to match my vintage dark green Kelly with gold fittings. The canvas strap will allow me to wear it casually in a cross-body fashion. Color-wise will not be an exact match but I don't mind the contrast and will add to the casual-vibe. I figured if I want to match it further, I can always get a fabric dye to darken it.

They only have one standard red webbing/canvas as shown in the link posted to their straps. Just standard colors available - black, dark blue, red, brown, 3types of green and orange/rust color. Check out their bespoke link for color selection. I think they have more leather color selection that listed on their website. http://www.chapmanbags.com/bespoke.html. Actually, it's also possible they have more neutral color webbing in beige available just judging from their bags.

Length is standard I think. The strap is adjustable. Pricing would be similar to the price posted on their website for canvas straps unless there's something more unique to be done. Not expensive...around C$64 after conversion.

Thanks for the compliment on my TB. Not entirely sure re color as seller listed it as Amethyst but I believe it's most likely Iris. Was looking for a UV toolbox as my HG bag for awhile....this is as close as I got to it :)

I want to order an extra shoulder strap for my K so I can wear it cross body.

Do you think I should go with leather or canvas? My K is an amazon K so it comes with a canvas strap (but short).

Another endorsement for Mautto--I ordered a canvas strap from them for my black Kelly and am very pleased with it. I'm very impressed with the color matching of the raisin and Rouge H! I wish they had a raisin canvas!

I ordered a canvas strap. Here are pictures. The hardware is a brighter 'gold' than the bag's. I hope this is helpful!
