Nobody uses colored bags?

I rarely see coloured bags, but I did notice a girl with bright green ( very vertigo) mini kelly shopping in regent street... I think coloured bags are actually quite difficult to incorporate into an outfit. I mean what do you do? Match the colours of your bag to your shirt or shoes? (Too matchy matchy! )Go for contrast? Tone on tone?
Shirt/top in my case. All of my pants, skirts and shorts are neutral apart from a single pair of powder blue shorts. I don't worry about shoes: Purposely trying to match shoes and handbag(sometimes it just happens!) is too grandmother-like for my tastes.

Do you know how many pairs of shoes I would have to buy!? Haha

I usually try to pick clothes that have a print or design feature/color that matches or coordinates with the handbag color, when I am wearing a colored bag. For example, I have a peony pink Marc Jacobs leather bag and I will usually wear that with a skirt that has a pattern of small pink flowers in a similar hue all over it (I wear a different colored top with it to provide contrast). Or I might wear my red bag with my navy blue sweater that has red piping on it. Of course, this limits how often I can wear the bag!

I am a two handbag person for work. I own a few black handbags, but I rarely carry them . I stick with mixing colours both when I am working and when I am not. I have a black satchel for work related items that I don't change ever. Then I carry a personal items handbag that changes often, but it is never a black handbag.

I love colored bags so much that I deliberately started buying more neutral clothing LOL!

I have red, yellow, blue and pink. I need a great green and a rich burgundy but haven’t found the right ones yet. I also have gunmetal, silver and gold metallics which aren’t colorful but, do have loads of personality.

This doesn’t mean I don’t live black bags. I have 8 of those too. Lol! But, something about a colored bag just makes me happy!

I absolutely love colour in my bags! So much fun! Off the top of my head, I own quite a few blue bags (it's my favourite colour and each bag is a different shade of blue), a couple of green bags (one metallic and one forest green), one multi-coloured bag, a yellow one, and a couple of burgundy bags. The only colours I don't have are any shade of tan or brown (I'm just not a brown person).

I also have a few black bags, of course, and 1 white and 1 off-white as well. I really want a quilted bright white bag for my collection but am holding out for the perfect one.

I don't fuss about what to match the bags with; when my outfit is monochrome, I add a pop of colour with the bag. When my outfit is colourful, I opt for a black or white bag.
