Ive found that Ive thrifted more dark coloured bags lately but I always go back to a colour...my orange Le Pliage makes me happy....I find with the dark coloured bags they have dark interior fabrics as well and I find it really hard to see inside and can never find my keys.
I love my orange bag!

I usually wear very simple outfits, brighten everything with color and wear all my colored bags all year. I have a few different blues, bright red, olive, pink, turquoise, chocolate, fuchsia, purple, mustard, plus a few colorful canvas totes and backpacks with different patterns. I might have forgotten some colors but anyway. I do have the basic tan, grey and black bags as well and I wear them mostly on work days especially if I have meetings to attend to or customers to meet. That's when I tend to focus more on what I'm wearing and let the bag be a bit more understated.

Yes it is.
One of the all time classic Oroton. Kiera.
Here in West Oz we get flooded with knockoffs from southeast asia. I am pretty sure this a genuine Oroton Kiera in a studio shot from the catalogue.
Yes...Ive seen a beige yellow one for sale on NZSale...had been tempted but have to stop buying off that site...my last 3 buys have been horrible or incorrect.

Colour is definitely good in my book! It would be even better to see more of it! Yes I have beautiful bags in black, browns (including oxblood, chestnut & oak) and navy but I also love a pop of colour. Nothing can be better than a pop of pink in my opinion. Pale pink for a neutral day or evening bag or bright pink for a lively bag style alongside a more neutral outfit. I have a bright pink Coach Crosby quilted Carryall which is fabulous in the summer. A spot of embellishment can be good too. I have a pale pink Coach Nomad with western riveting and a Coach Dinky in heather tearose.
