Nobody uses colored bags?

Lol I'll wear my reds with purple! But I tend toward dark jewel tones. I don't do violet or anything. I find the red looks great with sage green and olive/military green. No hunter green and red until Christmas!

You know after I wrote that I thought to myself "But I use my purple bag with red tops..." hahaha

there was a time in my life when i dont have any black bags (my clothes are all black tho).
even when i only have one bag, it was burgundy.

burgundy is still my fave color for bag, and navy. look so lush and you see the details better than black

Seattle is VERY much "colorless". Everyone is in black and grey, rarely brown. Anyone "in color," like myself, tends to stick out. (Especially me when I'm in my purple trench coat)
Exception is football season, when there are plenty of people in the Seahawks colors of navy and lime green.

I'm the opposite, if I find the perfect colour I don't mind spending some decent money. Most bags look OK in black or brown but when it comes to colour I'm really fussy.

I think a black bag is classic. I'm a fan of color but I love having a sleek, iconic neutral purse to fall back onto.

I see my fair share of colors where I live, but for me personally most of my wardrobe is black and it's hard to go wrong with. I'm also kind of scared of color transfer.

I see no colored bags around me. The only time was like 5 years ago at Trader Joe's. A lady was carrying a patent red Prada.

I rarely see coloured bags, but I did notice a girl with bright green ( very vertigo) mini kelly shopping in regent street... I think coloured bags are actually quite difficult to incorporate into an outfit. I mean what do you do? Match the colours of your bag to your shirt or shoes? (Too matchy matchy! )Go for contrast? Tone on tone?

I wear mostly neutrals like grey, black, beige, taupe, rust or white so my colored bags add a bit of color. I never wear matching shoes. I just decide if it looks OK or not and wear it.
